Bee-Active Bootcamps: Summer Bootcamp
STARTING DATE: TUESDAY 20th JAN
FINISHING DATE: SATURDAY 11th APRIL
Hey my bootcamp bee-activators!!
First and foremost, I would like to congratulate you ALL on saying ‘yes!’
Saying yes to 12-weeks of hard work, a new regime and a big challenge!
There are going to be days when you smash your sessions and feel such an
adrenaline rush that you want to keep going....... Then there are going to be
days when you rock up and think ‘Stuff this.’ It’s not always easy, but once
you get going you will feel energised, healthy and happy.
A bit about your trainer: I have been a qualified personal trainer with my
own small business for over 3 years. Fitness and health is one of my biggest
passions in life. I have been lifting weights and working out since I was about
17 years old! I am also a qualified Occupational Therapist with two degrees in
Psychology and a Masters in OT. I currently work in a psychiatric hospital
and deal daily with various mental illness and psychotic disorders. I have a
super awesome man in my life Dan, who I take the piss out of regularly
during class, and I have 2 pups and a bird who are my life! I like to think I am
pretty approachable so if you have any questions always feel free to contact
me. The one thing I really want to stress is that if you put in the work you
WILL get results. This is because I have seen it in HEAPS of my clients and I
have seen it in myself! I only ever make you do training that I personally do. If
you eat crap and avoid exercise then don’t expect results. Other than that, I
am a fun loving, hyperactive, loud individual who will always strive to be the
best I can.
But I’m so unfit...what if everyone else is better than me? 
When you were all signing up for this bootcamp I honestly think about 10-12
of you wrote to me saying ‘I’m scared’, ‘I’m so unfit, just warning you’, ‘I might
not be able to keep up.’ Rest assured you are all feeling a little scared and
that is normal. I will always try to push you but you will NEVER have to do
anything you don’t want to. If something is really not your thing we can modify
it, if something is too easy I will make it harder, if something is hurting a preexisting injury I will adjust it. The challenges and assessments I do are to
push you because as I always say if it was easy then EVERYONE would
do it. Unfortunately, we have to push our bodies in order for them to
challenge themselves and that equals change. If we continue to do the same
thing week after week it definitely won’t make a difference. There are a lot of
new people in this bootcamp and some returning bootcampers. In every
bootcamp I have had there has been a fantastic bond formed between the
girls and support and encouragement like I have never seen before. Any of

my previous girls can vouch for this so please don’t be scared – you have
made a great decision to change your mindset and your body!
Defining boxing bootcamp:
Don’t be scared by the word bootcamp! Although I’m tough, and I push, you
won’t see me pressuring you or making you feel uncomfortable.... You
NEVER EVER EVER EVER have to do anything you don’t want to. Plus,
army pants were soooo last century!
What this is NOT:
- A military camp
- A competition
- A time to slack off – if that’s what you think go join the girls giggling and
perving at guys on the treadmill at your local gym!
- Boring, repetitive sessions - goodnight zzzzzzzzzz (I’m a little hyperactive
so I’m usually yelling and carrying on, sometimes forgetting about the
stopwatch.... Ha ha).
- A franchise, money grabbing scheme – although this is my job, I have made
it as affordable as possible and believe it or not, I actually WANT you to go
well and get the results you want!
- A diet or fad or loose 10kg’s in 12-weeks gimmick.
- A bootcamp where the trainer talks the talk but doesn’t walk the walk. There
are SO many PT’s who don’t follow their own adice and I simply don’t
understand! I work out 5-7 days a week, I’m fit and healthy, rarely drink, have
a very strict diet (and I use the work ‘diet’ loosely as it is more so a way of
life!) and I will inspire and help you get to that point too. There are many PT’s
who stand there and yell commands but don’t believe in their training. I
conduct training that I myself personally do! Why would you go to a dentist
who didn’t look after their teeth? Why would you go to a hairdresser who
didn’t trim their hair? And, why would you go to a trainer who doesn’t look
after their body???
- A miracle – you can’t come to training a few times a week, eat crap and be
disappointed when you don’t get the results you wanted. Diet and lifestyle
outside of Bee Active are very important. My training will be a waste of
your time and money unless you stop and think about what you are
putting in your mouth – this will be 80% of your results! So, don’t you
DARE drive through Maccas on the way home!! Orrrr... I will fiiiind you!!
What this IS:
- A chance to get into a routine – this is not calorie restricted 3x a day training
boot camp. It’s education and instruction on how to be the best you can be
and how you can be realistic about incorporating exercise into your lifestyle.
- A happy place - You know in Adam Sandler’s ‘Happy Gilmore’, Happy is
told to think of a happy place? Well, that’s what I want you to feel about
training! There will be times that you don’t want to or don’t feel it’s worth it –

but trust me it takes time. The one thing I WILL GUARANTEE is you will get
home form each session and feel PROUD and successful and happy :)
- A challenge – you aren’t competing against ANYONE but yourself. There
will be some girls fitter than you and some girls not as fit as you – but
who cares. We are all there to support each other and encourage one
another.
- Rewarding – you will feel healthy happy and rejuvenated!
Class times and costs:
Tuesday: 6:00-7:00pm Thursday: 6:00 – 7:00pm Saturday: 8:00 – 9:00am
Bootcamp cost:
Option 1 (Which 95% of you are doing and which will give you the best
results!): Only $360 for the entire 12-week period!! ($10 per session!)
Option 2: Two sessions per week at $300 ($12.50 per session).
So for the extra $60 it is worth doing 3 sessions per week for consistency and
better results (plus if you miss one here or there you are still getting your
moneys worth!).

PAYMENT:
Please read the following in it’s entirety:
Paid in cash on the first session. There are NO refunds for missed
classes or make up classes for sickness, injury, laziness, tiredness etc.
THIS IS A STRICT POLICY. I would love to give everyone discounts and
make up sessions and money back etc but this is my job too!! I have to
turn up no matter what and when you pay this is a commitment that we
make to each other.
Where do we meet?
There are various places that we meet around Berwick. I will message you
(text message) every day or night before and confirm venue so please
always check your phone!!
The ‘Meet and Greet’ Session will be held at: Brentwood Park Primary
School. Bermersyde Drive, Berwick. Drive through the green school gates
(across from house number 49) and park (you will see my little micra- if not
you are not in the right gates). Walk across the outdoor basketball courts to
the big indoor court.
Another venue we go to sometimes is: Berwick Chase Primary School which
is 72 Viewgrand Drive Berwick (parking on Bridgewater Blvd). You will see
me out front.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE ATTEND THIS
SESSION!!

First session – ‘The Meet and Greet’
THURSDAY 8thH of JAN at 6:00pm BRENTWOOD PARK PRIMARY
SCHOOL (see directions above).
All this is, is a chance to meet everyone, payment must be made on this day,
and anyone that would like formal measurements taken will take place.
Please note there is about 30 of you in the group (trust me once the first few
weeks pass you will notice there is a drop due to people missing classes etc).
So be prepared to hang around for about an hour on this night.
The official start date is Tuesday 20th of October:
