Yash Raj Films light hearted romantic comedy  Mere Brother    Ki Dulhan that has Katrina Kaif, Imran Khan and Ali Zafar in the lead roles had a decent opening and is doing equally decent business. The film was noted due to Katrina Kaif’s  Aarakshan , exceptional performance. another socio-political drama by Prakash Jha that has Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles had an average opening, but is a must-watch for Big B’s performance. The entire lead cast has come up with outstanding performances in this film.

 

  That girl in Yellow Boots by Anurag Kashyap that saw the light of the day after a lot of hurdles has Kalki Koechlin as the main protagonist who comes to Mumbai in search of her father. The film has been much appreciated in the art circles and audiences of international cinema.  Bol , a Pakistani film is a heart rendering tale of a Muslim family and their trials and tribulations. Ram Gopal Varma’s  Not a Love Story,   based on the real life murder of Neeraj Grover is also an engaging film which has most of the facts of the incident embedded in the film. Mahesh Bhatt’s  Murder 2  which has Emraan Hashmi and Jacqueline Fernandez was the perfect

murder mystery with the right amount of suspense, sizzle and sex. Unfortuantely Chatur Singh Two Star   with Sanjay Dutt and Ameesha Patel as the lead pair sank at the box office miserably.
