Wood MacKenzie | Vacancy Search Results Job Title Job Description Summer Internship Programme 2011 (Energy Buisness) Wood Mackenzie is looking to take on 5-6 interns for 2 or 3 month internships over Summer 2011. Working alongside experienced research analysts, you will gain first-hand experience of what it s like to work in a commercial research environment. Their aim is to give you a comprehensive insight into the work of a leading research organisation looking at all aspects of the Energy business. The exact nature of the work will be decided in conjunction with the student based on personal aspirations and the teams requesting interns. They are interested in applicants with the following attributes and skills: * a genuine interest in the energy and metals industries * an ability to perform analytical and database work particularly using Excel and Access *a willingness to learn about our business from the ground up *studying for an energy/metals or finance-related or analytical degree In exchange they will offer interns: * A stimulating and fun environment working within one of their core research teams * A chance to work on a project with direct relevance to your studies * An intern-level salary for the duration of the internship
