For more information, visit www.websense.com. Job Summary Websense is a leading provider of content security, and we’re looking for outstanding design talent to help visually tell that story. We’re searching for an outstanding Graphic Designer to join our corporate marketing communications team. The Designer will have a proven ability to drive both content creation and illustration. He/she will be responsible for developing a wide array of materials, including custom illustrations, posters, HTML emails, whitepapers, event signage, the annual report, and other, various design projects for both print and online. Websense is leading the charge against modern security threats. We need someone who can clearly and aesthetically present what we do to help move our brand forward. Essential Functions Direct creative design for print and online Work closely with the field marketing and Web teams to develop rich, compelling visuals for Websense marketing Develop a wide array of materials, including custom illustrations, posters, HTML emails, white papers, event signage, the annual report, and other, various design projects for both print and online Work with our corporate and field marketing communications teams to manage design and workflow for projects that span print, online, animation, and multimedia — from design comps to photo shoots and final production Managing localisation and formatting of all global marketing collateral, working closely with translation agencies and regional marketing managers. Implementing and ensuring corporate brand strategy and global identity is consistently communicated Pre-press checks and maintaining working relationships with printers to ensure on-time delivery Ability to manage multiple projects Perform other duties and projects as assigned Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Strong project management experience combined with skills in digital design, print, and production processes for the kinds of deliverables outlined above Ability to work with employees globally at all levels, as well as with customers, prospects, outside agencies and other vendors to manage design, advertising, and literature fulfillment processes as needed Intimate knowledge of CS4, CS5; Photoshop, inDesign, Dreamweaver and Illustrator as demonstrated in your portfolio HTML knowledge is essential Demonstrable understanding of brand strategy and communication Soft Skills Self-starter with the ability to focus in a world of changing priorities Passionate brand/layout artist who is up-to-date with today’s trends and has a proven ability to drive both content creation and illustration Ability to work with employees at all levels, as well as with customers, prospects, outside agencies and other vendors to manage design, advertising, and literature fulfillment processes as needed
