Dear Editor:

Sir,Children are assets of our country .They should enjoy their childhood and not work in any hazardous jobs. Child labour remains a serious problem in many parts of the world . Many of these children live in underdeveloped countries. There living conditions are crude and their chances for educations is minimal.  Forced to stand for endless hours working, labouring, stitch after stitch. Forced to fight on the front line or made to work form dawn to dusk in the tobacco fields, for these there are no comparisons, but these could be your children… no doubt you will thank god they are not. So many of our worlds population don’t have a choice no matter how much they thank and pray their   their   family need money. They need food and water and shelter… all the things we put past us and don’t think twice about. They have no choice but to send there children to work, or even more so, this choice is taken from them in the middle of the night. "The child is the father of man. " This famous line quoted by William Wordswor W ordsworth th refers to the importance of the child for the development of society as well as for the all-round development of the human race. We should never ignore the fact that child is the purest form of God. His innocence brings us closer to the almighty. Child labourers are exploited, exposed to hazardous work conditions and paid a pittance for their long hours of work. They belong to the unorganized labour force. There are more than 250million child labourers in our country. Child labour, designation formerly applied to the practice of employing young children in factories, non used to denote the employment of minors generally, espec especially ially in work that may interfere with their education or endanger their health. Throughout the ages and in all cultures children joined with their parents to work in the fields, in the market place and around the home as soon as they were old enough to perform simple tasks tasks . The use of child labour was not regarded a social problem until the introduction of the factory system . Children in die circumstances lead to poor health and suffer from various diseases such as malnutrition , skin diseases etc . Due to lack of literacy level and poverty , parents force their children to work and earn some money. Preventing children from enjoying their childhood childhoo d , hampering their development and causing lifelong physical or psychologi psychological cal damage is not only determinate to families but also to communities communities and to society as well. India has banned child labour but still children can be seen working in houses, motels, etc. Childlabour should be banned so that children cannot be exploited by traders and industrialis industrialists ts . For this govt. should provide free education systems to the children. Firstly, innocent children are often very unwell and the cramped, tight places they are kept in can affect their health. It causes damage to the spine, can weaken and cause their delicate lungs to fill to top with lint and wool and affect their breathing. Struggling young people fight off death because if they slow down, they will be beaten. Thank you Yours sincerely
