Respected Professor, I, Manoj Kumar, have a work experience of more than 8 years in the automotive domain. I mainly worked on the embedded systems software for cars. I worked in Robert Bosch Engineering Solutions – India as an architect for Park Pilot systems. I was responsible to develop the AUTOSAR AUTOSAR based service layers to implement the Virtual Virtual Networking for Low speed CAN modules. The programing language used was C. I have implemented mechanisms for wakeup, sleep and start/end of communication of low speed CAN modules. My first company was General Motors (GM). I have programming experience with C,VB and a bit of python. I also have practical knowledge on UML modeling. I have worked on CAN protocol. I have root caused issues like ECU gate-waying and transmission tr ansmission problems due to fixed priority of CAN messages; both issues were with the Body Control Module for which I was the system engineer.. During my final years in GM, I worked on AUTOSAR CAN interfaces. I was responsible engineer to carry out tests on test-boards after implementing the AUTOSAR configurations for CAN. I have done the concept for transmitting more than 8 bytes of CAN message using AUTOSAR AUTOSAR transport protocol layer and also Partial Networking concept for AUTOSAR. I have a Masters in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University University,, it was a distance education course sponsored by GM. This was a course which I took alongside work. With my experience and academic knowledge, I am confident that I can contribute to your projects and help myself to learn more. I look forward to work with you. Sincerely Manoj Kumar
