Evolution of Mobile Phones

Who invented the Mobile Phone?
Martin Cooper was the inventor of the mobile phone. He made it in the early 1940’s. It was known as a two-way radio, you could only dial a number if you were in the car, they were called bag phones. Motorola were the first to develop a backpacked two-way radio.

What do they do?
Mobile phones now a days can do a lot more than making phone calls, they can: -Text -Internet -Games -Email -Camera -Video camera - Music players -Alarms -Calendars -Voice recorder -Bluetooth -Stopwatch -Timer -Radio

Different Networks
Mobile phones all have different networks that they are on, they give different deals so if you top your phone up at different amounts some companies give you extra minutes or texts. There are many different network types: O2 Orange Vodafone 3 Virgin Tesco Asda T-mobile

How have they changed in time.
Mobile phones have changed over time in many ways. They have a lot more things available for them and they also have changed in there physical appearance, there are many more elaborate things to do with mobile phones, you can choose what colour your phone is also phones are getting smaller and smaller but they still are able to do all the things that other phones do and more.
