PROJECT ABSTRACT
Project Title: File based Digital Signature authentication OBJECTIVE: File based digital signature authentication provides security to files
authenticating user to enter digital signatures other than user name and password these systems users to digitally sign transaction information with a private key. The private key may be used to digitally sign the transaction, for example, through a hosted or local system that protects the integrity of the private key. The should authenticate the user by decrypting the digital signature with a public key.
Scope:
♦ Should have login screen .(Login screen should consist of Username, Password, Along with digital signature) ♦ User should create a file ♦ Should be able to generate Public key and Private Key ♦ Use the digital signature key for authentication digital signature as input ♦ If the digital signature match then it should say success otherwise it should say fail.
EXISTING SYSTEM:
The existing system has only user name and password ,password can be hacked but if digital signature authentication is used it will become difficult because here authentication, encryption and access control features are added
LIMITATIONS OF EXISTING SYSTEM:
None.
PROPOSED SYSTEM:
File based digital signature authentication provides security to the Files by providing safety measures such as authentication, encryption and access control.
ADVANTAGES OF PROPOSED SYSTEM:
Confidentiality: A File authenticated with the digital signature can have much confidentiality than others
HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:
Processor Hard Disk RAM : : : Pentium IV 40GB 512MB or more
