Keys hitting solid pitch shot by Todd Anderson
Teaching Point:
1. Swing the club on a correct plane. (put something behind the ball, a little bit
inside to mark the position of shaft when Sand Wedge is lifted. The shaft must
be pointing at the markers. If it pointing too far outside the shot will be too
flat. If it pointing too far inside the shot will be too vertical and steep)
2. Feel the weight shift from back foot to front foot, feels the hand drop (weight
shift to forward foot starting from downswing)
3. Hit the club in front of the ball position. (Mistake done by amateurs is they hit
the ball fat and hit the ground before the ball or they miss the ground and hit
the ball thin)
4. Create downward blow with flat left wrist at the impact.
