1959: Wong family traveled from China to the Philippines. The family opened a small botika in Cebu. In October 11, 1965, they hired pharmacist Lily Camacho (now VP for Manufacturing) to enhance the smell of their famous ointment. As of late, IPI has 13 branches nationwide and has celebrated 50 years of service.
