OKTOBERFEST BRINGS GERMAN CULTURE TO ART WALK

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA, Oct. 5, 2015 –  2015  –  Jacksonville  Jacksonville Art Walk is hosting its third annual Oktoberfest with food, beer and entertainment. ente rtainment. The event is Wednesday, October 7 from from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. It will start when Jacksonville’s mayor , Lenny Curry, taps the traditional keg. “Oktoberfest showcases the artistry of cooks, musicians and other artists in a way wa y that  people just don’t expect,” Curry said.  said.  Fionn MacCool’ MacCool’s Irish Pub and Restaurant will serve traditional German food. Hoptinger’s Bier & Sausage House will also be sponsoring spon soring a sausage-eating contest and they will be open until 2 a.m. to keep the celebration going.
