Dear Students: This Friday, October 23 is Filipiniana. The student-run Philippine Culture Club has decided to focus this year's event on supporting those affected by the recent flooding. Please get involved with these efforts as we celebrate the culture of our beautiful host country, the Philippines. Parents and teachers will have an opportunity to talk during this week's Parent Teacher Conferences on Monday, October 19 and Tuesday, October 20 from 1:00—6:00 P.M. With your parents check PowerSchool to see your progress and level of achievement. Please be aware of the modified schedule and make the necessary arrangements to get picked up at 12:00 noon. Student pictures will take place this week. These will be the Salinlahi pictures so make sure you're ready to give your best smile! Enjoy the week and have a good break! Ms. Fredericks and Ms. Sayson

CCV DIAPER DRIVE
Congratulations to all students who took part in this years diaper drive. CCV really appreciate the number of diapers we took and want to say a big THANK YOU. The diapers are needed by the 78 children currently living in the village and 36,000 diapers were delivered on Saturday. The winning Hombase’s win a dress down day on Thursday Oct 22nd - congratulations to Mr. Patterson, Mr. Ayling, Mr. Peabody and Ms. Piper’s Homebases.
PHOTO SHOOT
The Photo Shoot is scheduled from October 19 to 22, 2009 in Room 1188 (Changing Room). • All students will be photographed regardless of purchase. • Each class will have a scheduled time for the shoot during the week. • Students must wear their school uniform during the photo shoot.

From the PCC and PTA Office March in UNITY and show your support for the typhoon victims. Buy a PCC shirt and wear it in the parade. All donations & proceeds from the shirt and food sales will go to the ISM Disaster Fund & the Papaya Academy. PCC shirts will be sold in front of the canteen during lunch break and after school.
