Educational Qualifications

D.ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Nationality/ Citizenship: - Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply (A)  Language Proficiency:- Candidates are required to posses proficiency in the official language of the state of Bihar.  E. RESERVATION POLICY:- As applicable for State of Bihar. Candidates Qualified in RRBs CWE-II will have to apply under S.C., S.T.,

O.B.C (MBC/BC/WBC) (MBC/BC/WBC) and UR Ca Categories tegories as applica applicable ble to State of Bihar and at the time of interview SC/ST and OBC (MBC/BC/WBC) candidates have to produce the Caste certificate issued by the proper Authority as per Reservation Policy of state of Bihar, as MBC/BC/WBC are the sub category of OBC. In the online application, OBC Candidates will be required to indicate if they belong to MBC/BC/WBC. The definitions of SC/ST/MBC/BC/WBC as applicable for State of Bihar. If a candidate does not fall in the Original Category as applicable to State of Bihar, the category by the candidate may be shown as UR in this online application. In that case the candidate must fulfill all the norms including individual test Cut offs and TWSS of UR Category.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:Name of the Post Assistant Manager (Scale-I) Assistant

Selection Procedure TWSS CWE-II RRBs Officers Scale I and Interview TWSS CWE-II RRBs Assistant(Multipurpose) and Interview

The candidates will be called for three times of number of vacancies for interview based on the TWSS under each category.

For Assistant Manager (Scale-I) :- Selection will be made on the basis of

performance in RRBs- CWE-II Officer Scale-I conducted by IBPS in September/ October 2013 and

Personal Intervie Interview. w. M Merit erit list of the candida candidates tes for final

selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in RRBs CWE-II of IBPS and personal interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC(MBC/BC/WBC)/UR category. Candidates from SC/ST and OBC (MBC/BC/WBC) category have to produce the Caste certificate issued by the competent Authority as per Bihar reservation Policy. Candidates will be selected for the opted Banks - according to their merit cum preference basis. Preference for the Bank will be taken at the time of Interview. No Candidates will be selected against more than one post, even though application is being made against all posts.

Selected candidates will be on probation period as under:(1) Assistant Manager (Scale -I)- An

Officer directly appointed as Assistant

Manager shall be on probation for a period of two years, which may be extended by the Appointing Authority for a period not exceeding one year.

(2) Assistant – An employee directly appointed in Assistant Cadre shall be on  probation for one year which may be extended for six months by the appointing authority.

H.INTERVIEW CENTRE:

The interview will be held at Patna Only. I.  CALL LETTERS FOR INTERVIEW:Depending upon the number of vacancies, only those candidates who rank sufficiently high in the order of merit based on their Total Weighted Standard Score in RRBs CWE-II will be called for interview. Three times number of vacancies, the candidates will be called for the Interview process. Final selection will be made on the basis of aggregate marks of Total Weighted Standard Score and Interview.

Call letters will be made available on BSCB website http://www.biharbank.bih.nic.in/  and candidates will be required to download http://www.biharbank.bih.nic.in/  the same. An intimation regarding downloading call letters will be sent by

 

 

email. Call letters will not be sent to the applicant by Post/ courier. Candidates should keep checking the website for updates. A list of all such candidates along with details such as date, time and venue of the interview will also be hosted on the Bank’s website http://www.biharbank.bih.nic.in/ Candidates are requested to regularly visit the Bank’s website and keep track of the status of o f their candidature, from time to time.

J.IDENTITY VERIFICATION:The candidate should, while appearing for the joining produce for verification in original and submit photo copies, if required, the photo identity card, such as PAN card, passport, Driving License/Voters Card/Bank Pass book with photograph, copy of the application made to IBPS for the Common Written Examination for Officer Scale-I/Office Assistant (Multipurpose) in RRBs CWE-II. If the identity of the candidate is in doubt the candidate will not be allowed to join. K. APPLICATION FEE INCLUDING INTIMATION CHARGES (NONREFUNDABLE) FOR THE BOTH POSTS:-

UR TERMS AND CONDITIONS a.  Candidates working in Govt /Semi-Govt /Central undertaking / Public undertaking will be required to produce No Objection Certificate from their employer if called for interview, in the absence of which, his/her candidature may not be considered.  b.  Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he/she he/ she fulfils the eligibility and other norms mentioned in this advertisement. c.  In case, it is detected that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information/ certificate/ documents or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will stand cancelled. If any of these shortcoming/s is/are detected even after

 

 

appointment, his/her services are liable to be terminated and the fees paid by the ineligible candidates shall be forfeited. d.  All candidates will have to produce copy of the online application submitted to IBPS for RRBs CWE –II for recruitment of Officer Scale-I/ Office Assistants(Multipurpose) along with original as well as attested photocopies of certificates regarding Qualification, Essential Requirements i.e. Print out of the downloaded Score Card, Date of Birth and Caste (if applicable), in support of their eligibility at the time of interview, failing which their candidature will be cancelled. e.  In case of candidates belonging to OBC(Within - MBC/BC/WBC) category, the certificate inter-alia must specify that the candidate does not belong to “CREAMY LAYER” section excluded from the benefits of reservations for OBCs and the certificate should contain the “NON-CREAMY LAYER CLAUSE” which should not be more than one year y ear old. f.  In case any dispute arises on account of interpretation of version other than English, English version will prevail and the version displayed on website shall be final. g.  Action against candidates found guilty of misconduct: -Candidates are advised in their own interest that they should not furnish any particulars that are false, tampered, fabricated or should not suppress any material information while filling up the application. h.  The Bank reserves the right to change the selection procedure, if necessary.
