Popular Culture Galore Part 13

I am 30 years old officially now. I feel different than when I was 20. I am more mature than when I am 20
years old. I am physically and emotionally stronger than ten years ago. I feel like I have still great agility.
We live in revolutionary times and we witness huge revolutionary changes in the Earth. I am more careful
in how I outline my information and I still believe in love. Love is a great force and it is very beautiful,
because it can cause radical, positive change in the world. It deals with goodwill, humane treatment, and
joy. I am human, so I will love. When I love, I do have feelings of joy, tranquility, and appreciation
of human life. I love music. Now, I listen to all types of music. I love African music, old school artists,
independent artists, and others. I am definitely feeling the music from so many artists. Music makes me
more intellectual, more spiritual, and more inclined to develop my own personal creativity in general.
Popular Culture is interesting. I like to study this issue and write about this issue. I want to make this
special point. There is nothing wrong with real music and the arts. Some folks get so obsessive with
celebrities that they even want to bash music and even art in general. Many of such reactionary
extremists (we know their names) who bash all forms of music seek a reactionary, narrow-minded
agenda. They make no clear distinction between legitimately exposing evil in the mainstream industry and
appreciating authentic, uplifting music. The reality is that the establishment hijacked the true
authentic wisdom from the ancient world (composed heavily of human beings of color
thousands of years ago) as an excuse to try to control society and cause people to bash
anything that relates to true wisdom. That is the point and that is real science. I will
always drop real science on the real. With me, my views are no so rigid on these matters. I feel that
we should encourage music and the arts among any human being. Music enriches the soul. It deal with
human expression and it allow humanity to adequately express a wide spectrum of emotions including
other creative energy. Music is a crucial backdrop of human culture. Now, this doesn’t mean that we
agree with nihilism, materialism, harm against human beings or abhorrent distractions. We should never
compromise our inherit core convictions, because we have every right to speak up for justice and speak
out against any unjust exploitation of human being. We have every right to support ethics, transparency,
excellence, and morality. We should build up humanity and show human compassion
in the world today. Ideologically, I am an independent thinking man. We ought to put
things into context and still fight poverty. We should still oppose war and we ought to love truth. My
people (who are black people) made an incredible mark in the world with music and the rest of the arts.
The struggle, the triumph, and the sacrifice of real musicians in the world ought to be respected. A Sister
(She knows who she is. She is my special friend and she is just an angel. :) She is my ace and she is so
intelligent and insightful on so many subjects. She has a great light. She speaks with a beautiful,
northern accent too. ☺ ) had to remind me that the unique gifts and diversity of musicians (especially
among black women) ought not to be minimized or diminished in any fundamental capacity. In other
words, it is great that artists do not sound the same. Musicians and artists in general are diverse in their
talents, attributes, social mores, and other forms of human expression. Regardless of our background, we
deserve equality, dignity, and respect. When we shine our light from the Creator, it just glows and it can
inspire others to live more prodigiously positive. When you treat your neighbor as yourself, then blessings
come in your lives. On that day when we receive our crowns, it will be a representation of truth,
glory, and the power of love. These differences ought to be appreciated. When I am becoming older, I
further appreciate the genuine greatness of music.

I like music from all across the world. I love African music truly too. I love the music from Fatoumata
Diawara. She sings about her relatives, Mali, Africa in general, and other subjects. She has a beautiful
voice and she knows how to use a guitar in an exquisite fashion. She was born in the Ivory Coast to
Malian parents. She was born in 1982. So, she is one year older than I am. She knows how to speak
African languages and French since she lived in France to act. She is a very Beautiful Sister inside and
out. I love she tries to sing about ending ethnic tensions in Africa, because at the end of the day, we don't
need war. We need more unity and more just cooperation in Africa, so Africa can be strengthened in a
legitimate fashion. I love her songs entitled, "Bissa", "Kele","Kanou", and so many of her other songs. I
like South African musicians too. I love the music from the Sarafina soundtrack (from the movie that came
about many years ago). I love the music from Brenda Fassie. She sings about love and other uplifting
subject matter that I enjoy. As many human beings realize, I love uplifting or inspirational music in my life.
I am 30 years old now, so a Brother has to expand his mind and just love righteousness. I love the songs
of Brenda Fassie called "Vulindlela","My Wedding Day", etc. She passed away, so RIP Brenda Fassie.
The music from Yvonne Chaka Chaka is incredible too. Miriam Makeba was a great innovator of African
music too. She not only had a great voice and song excellent music. She supported the anti-apartheid
music and was courageous to speak out in favor for the justice of black South African human beings (and
by extension the equality among all of the human family). She was strong and worked with musicians
from across genres as a means to fight apartheid. In her lifetime, she saw the reactionary apartheid
regime to end. She saw many changes in the globe and I greatly respect her legacy and actions. RIP to
Miriam Makeba. The Senegalese band named Touré Kunda are activists for the homeless and children’s
rights. Also, it is important to note the beauty of black musical talent globally beyond the great talent that
is found in the States. At the end of the day, we are all humans. We are all human beings seeking justice,
wisdom, and end to oppression in the world. The Brothers and the Sisters doing what is right and showing
their gifts in the world (especially to positively impact the lives of their neighbors) ought to be respected to
the fullest.

Times are changing rapidly in the world. We are near the year 2014 and even I could remember 1996 like
it was yesterday. Time is going fast. As time travels, we see new cultural things rise up. A lot of folks are
talking about the Sister Beyonce’s new album that came about publicly in December of 2013. Popular
culture ever evolves in the globe. On the other hand, the truth remains strong. Regardless of the hate in
the world, love is always superior to hate. All human beings deserve basic human rights. I am in a
better space in my life now. I feel happier in my life. I feel more joy in my life with great family and great
friends. I feel more compassion in my heart and I have more emotional strength than many years ago. I
am more spiritual and more moral in my life too. So, that is a great, forthright development in my
longevity. I thank God for the blessings in my life. I thank God for my family and friends. I am further
inspired to do what is right and I will always love my black people and humanity
in general. Love is Love. Now, the Arsenio Hall show is back on television. Miley Cyrus has great
controversies in her lyrics and actions. The NFL is debating issues of harassment and bullying. So, there
is never a dull moment in the realm of human existence. The reality is that we should treat our neighbors
as ourselves. Regardless of someone's physical appearance, race, or background, a human being should
be treated with dignity and with profound respect. All human beings deserve happiness, joy, peace, love,
and dignity. The dignity of everyone ought to be respected in any generation. When you understand what
is most important in life, your soul comes alive and you appreciate camaraderie and justice. Yes, I will
show sources here like I always do. I always got proof and truth on my side. All oppressed human beings
deserve justice and I want justice for my people. Once we further realize that we are all our
brothers' and sisters' keeper, the better off we will be as a society and as a world.

Symbolism and popular mainstream culture go hand in hand. The single eye motif in the industry
continues to go strong. The single eye is related to the ancient eye of Horus. There is a poster promoting
the season 4B of the TV series, "Pretty Little Liars." The poster was criticized by actress Ashley Benson.
She said that: "...Our faces in this were from 4 years ago...and we look ridiculous. Way too much
Photoshop. We all have flaws. No one looks like this. It's not attractive." The 4 women have one eye
hidden making this image a salute to the establishment industry. During the TV show called "Lady Gaga
and the Muppets Holiday Specular" have Lady Gaga doing the one eye sign around many puppets. About
3.6 million viewers saw it on Thanksgiving. Many children have watched the show too. There is the
Balmain fashion house showing Rihanna hiding one eye in the photo. There is the image of Kesha
wearing an One eyed outfit with an one eyed bandana and an one eyed tattoo on her hand. There is
another poster promoting the TV series called "Intelligence." It shows a man hiding one eye with a
microchip. The show stars Josh Holloway. He plays Gabriel Vaughn or a high tech intelligence operative
enhanced with a super computer microchip in his brain. With this implant, Gabriel is the first human ever
to be connected directly into the global information grid. The show talks about the issues of
micrcochipping, transhumanism, and brainwashing, which are all issues folks, are dealing with in real life.
There is another picture of Pink dressed as Marilyn Monroe. She has one eye hidden. She shows the
peace sign. There are many eyes shown in the music industry. The reality is that symbols and other items
are exploited by the establishment as a means to distract humans from the truth that materialism,
militarism, and economic exploitation must be exposed. The elite in Hollywood are just as wrong as the
military industrial complex in advancing those 3 evils of materialism, militarism, and economic
exploitation. The following words will discuss about many issues.

An Old School Event of the Elite

One of the strangest pictures of the establishment comes from the famous 1972 Rothschild ball. On
December 12, 1972, Marie-Hélène de Rothschild held a Surrealist ball at Château de Ferrières, one of
the family’s gigantic mansions. These events were very secretive. Yet, photographs of the Ball have
surfaced on the web. The images look similar to the movie from the Eyes Wide Shut masked ball and it is
similar to a Lady Gage style pop video. Much of the images mask the obvious with fun and games. Yet,
the big picture is that there is an occult elite that loves MK Ultra themes, occult symbolism, etc. that is
found in so many music videos, movies, and other media in real life. The Rothschild invitation is written in
reverse. The Rothschild family is a famous family whose history heavily deals with economics and
basically other international affairs in the span of numerous centuries. You must have a mirror to read the
invitation.. Inversion is a big deal in many occult circles. The Château de Ferrières was lit in red to make it
appear as if it was on fire. Scenes from Roman Polanski’s movie about Satan “9th Gate” were filmed
there. In “Eyes Wide Shut”, the occult ritual takes place in another Rothschild mansion, Mentmore Towers
in the UK. There is one guest wearing a multiple faced mask. A similar mask can be seen in once against
the Eyes Wide Shut movie (a film based on Rothschild balls). This ball existed decades before Eyes Wide
Shut came about. Stanley Kubrick directed the strange, esoteric imagery filled movie. Debauchery has
been done by the super-rich elite for thousands of years. The political and religious establishment
helped to organize and fund the atrocities of the Maafa, the Inquisition, the genocide of
Native Americans, the Holocaust, and the evils found heavily in the modern 21st century
war on terror. Designs of birdcages are found everywhere. One human being wears a horned head,
which is typical of the elite. Another person wears horned antlers on her head. There is Salvador Dali
doing his Dali face in front his famous depiction of Mae West. Salvador Dali is an innovator of
surrealism and surrealism and the occult have many ties or relationships. Many masks are shown.
Also, on the dinner table, there are dismembered dolls and cracked skulls. This imagery is found in music
videos now. It is about the occult elite loving dehumanization, MK Ultra culture, and other decadent
perversions. There is some sick mannequin cadaver thing on the dinner table too. The images from the
parties are serious stuff. It is disturbing to say the least. History repeats itself because of these same
parties back in 1972 exist now in 2013. Many of the elite hate real morality, so they use eccentric
behavior as a means to compensate their wicked deeds. This is unbelievable, but this stuff is very
real. So, truth is stranger than fiction.

When we see how popular culture works, we see more of the truth. We see that the elite revel in the
perverse acts of greed, obfuscating the truth, imperialism, dehumanization, economic exploitation, and
sexual exploitation. We also know about the role of CIA in this situation. The CIA have funded and
controlled scores of U.S. student, labor, religious, political, and artistic organizations. This is documented
in the 2008 book called, "The Mighty Wurlitzer" whose author is Hugh Wilford. The elite have subverted
many private and public institutions in the West as a means to maintain control and power over the
people. During the Cold War deception, tons of innocent people were killed. That is why when you do the
research, you see that there isn't much difference between monopoly capitalism and Stalinist,
authoritarian Communism. Under Stalinist, authoritarian Communism (as opposed to the other variations
of communism and socialism), the state own the corporations and the Big Banks own the States. Under
monopoly capitalism, the corporations own the State, and the Big Banks own the corporations. Both
system allows select central banks to have a political, cultural, economic, and spiritual monopoly in the
world. The concept of a monopoly is detrimental to social progress and real justice in the world. Central
banking among select banks like the FED or the BIS (which is not exposed a lot) is abhorrent. We know
about the illusion of democracy in the West. The establishment use mainstream educational system
(funded by foundations), mainstream religion, and the mass media to teach folks acquiesce to a
deceptive system. It is as simple as that. Some are exploiting laws in Colorado when dealing with
marijuana as a means to make economic corporate profit not as a means to really address the evils found
in the War on Drugs. The War on Drugs should be abolished and we should not look out for solely self
interest. We should be concerned with altruism and have concern for the community. Many Secret
societies come into play. Many high level Secret Societies act as executioners of the policies of the elite.
Here are some examples. Many revolutions, policies, actions, and even wars (like the Opium Wars, etc.)
were executed by members of Freemasonry, the Skulls and Bones, and other Secret societies. Many low
level members of the Secret societies don't know the real deal, while the leadership knows what the deal
is. Today, the elite want the centralization of wealth, imperialism, and other evils as a means to have
Western domination of world society. Some in popular culture advance materialism, depravity, and other
forms of wickedness. That is why when we express the universal spiritual ideals of Truth, Justice, Human
Dignity, Equality, and Love, the world becomes better.

The Now You See Me Film

As the Vigilant Citizen website have eloquently mentioned, the "Now You See Me" movie has a lot of real
similarities to the entertainment industry in real life. The film is about famous magicians and they perform
incredible magic tricks like a bank heist. The catch is that the film deals with a shady organization called
"The Eye" ironically enough that controls these entertainers. There is a lot of action in the movie, but the
message pretty much shows how an occult inspired elite controls the entertainment business. The movie
has many implausible scenarios. The movie deals with the idea of the closer you look, the less you see.
Magicians distract audiences with illusions as a means to show their actions. Also, in real life, the real
magic of harm is done by the elite under guise of illusions and distractions found in modern day Western
society. The movie has the police chase, the bank heist plot, and the explosions to keep the viewers' eye
occupied, while the real story unfolds. The movie details a symbol of the real entertainment industry. That
industry is ruled by elite forces and the masses are deceived by master illusionists. The movie shows 4
magicians being invited to join something via a tarot card with an All Seeing Eye on it. A hooded figure
watches them. The back of the invitation card has the image of the All Seeing Eye (which has many
meanings). The entertainment industry in real life shows occult imagery all of the time. The four magicians
are selected as a means to excel in their magic. They appear to use real, occult magic. The characters of
the magicians are Henley Reeves (an escapist having the High Priestess tarot card), J. Daniel Atlas (he is
an illusionist with the Lovers card), Merrit McKinney (a mentalist with the Hermit card), and Jack Wilder (a
sleight of hand illusionist with the Death card). Jack Wilder is the youngest of the crew. He has the Death
card which foreshadows his ritual sacrifice. The magicians come into a strange apartment with strange
contraptions in it. There are riddles there as an initiation ritual. The elite's plans are shown and they
become big time entertainers. They join the Eye and they are in Las Vegas. The fame comes to them.
They are the Four Horsemen group now, but in real life the Four Horsemen are found in the Book of
Revelation. They are the harbingers of the Apocalypse giving pestilence, war, famine, and death. A lot of
the occult elite exploit the Book of Revelation as a means to advance their agenda. The Four Horsemen
magicians follow orders from the Eye. The Secret society controls them. They perform in a stage in the
shape of a giant eye. The All Seeing Eye symbol is found all over the movie. There is the logo of the Four
Horsemen magicians as well. The actions of the Eye are influence in the magician's actions. It is
interesting to note that the people behind the movie did not create a fictional symbol to represent the
secret society. They used the most important symbol of today’s occult elite – one the most important
symbols of various powerful secret societies. This symbol of the All Seeing Eye including others are also
already used all around mass media. That image is a common image of the symbolism of the occult elite.

The OTO is an old order that uses magical rituals as a means to maintain their agenda. The OTO has a
history with Hollywood. The All Seeing Eye is common in the OTO, the Freemasons, and other similar
organizations. The OTO wants the Aeon of Horus to reign in the world ruled by the law of Thelema. In the
movie, one of the books used to research The Eye is called “The Guardians of Horus." The layout of its
cover closely resembles the cover of actual OTO books, complete with rectangular borders and a title in
golden, embedded, capitalized letters. The film shows many folks being programmed to do strange
actions when talking about the Eye. Jack Wilder appears to die in a car crash. Yet, he is still alive and the
public doesn't know that. Thaddeus, an ex-magician, now makes a career out of creating DVDs
“debunking” magicians. When he goes against the elite-backed Horsemen, things do not end well for him.
He is framed by the Eye and thrown in jail. By the end of the movie, the Four Horsemen do not know what
is going on. This is like in real life. Many puppet musicians do not know about corporate exploitation,
occult rituals, and the occult elite exploiting their lives. The puppets just do the bidding of the rulers of the
industry. At the end of the film, the Horsemen see closed up boxes and they were used by the Eye for
exploitation. They were manipulated all along. The elite uses real magic. Crowley defined magick as “the
Science and Art of causing Change to occur in conformity with Will”. The goal of the entertainment
industry is to cause change. But that change takes time … years, decades and generations. The movie
shows changes all of the time. The distraction is the overt magic tricks and the real magic is the elite
transforming society to fit its needs via the mass media. CGI is real, but the elite wants genetic control,
militarism, imperialism, and centralization of power into their own hands. The folllowing sources prove my
point from Professor Carroll Quigley’s book entitled, “Tragedy and Hope”:

“…"The powers of financial capitalism has another far reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world
system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country
and the economy of the world as a whole." [Quigley, pp.324]

"The argument that the two [political] parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps
of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic
thinkers. Instead the two parties should be almost identical, so the that American people can 'throw the
rascals out' at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy." [Quigley,
pp.1247-1248]

The movie shows a metaphor about how in real life that many artists and performers are recruited by the
elite to advance it agenda. The Eye is based on real secret societies that have influence in Hollywood.
So, we see the truth and we know the real including the deal. That is why we should fight evil by doing
good. The prophet Isaiah was right to criticize those who call good evil or evil good too: “…Woe to
those who call evil good, and good evil...Who put darkness for light, and
light for darkness; Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes..." (Isaiah
5:20-21).

One of the biggest evils found in popular culture is its advancement of the wicked, nefarious American
Empire. We know that the entertainment industry and mainstream popular culture is dominated by elite
corporate interests. The 1 percent heavily works in contrast to the interests of the rest of humanity. We
know that we should be careful on how humanity is portrayed. Then and now, black human beings and
others have been degraded, stereotyped, and lied about by the pop culture including the entertainment
industry. We know that the Hollywood and TV industry is filled with the lies of white supremacy. White
Supremacy with its capitalist power structure influences that system. Also, many blacks are in that
industry and are used as scapegoats for the overall evil system of the white supremacy power structure.
Now, we know that Kanye West is wrong to glamorize a Confederate flag on his jacket. The Confederate
flag is the symbol of our enemy. The Confederacy was a scourge in the world. Jefferson Davis, Albert
Pike, and other Confederates were wrong in their cause. It or that flag was used as a means to harm,
abuse, and kill innocent black men, black women, and black children. It is inappropriate in my eyes. I can't
co-sign that jacket at all. I can never use the flag of my enemy on my body at all. We know that popular
culture has been exploited by the ruling elite as a means to advance not only American capitalism and
empire (it is to ferment the agenda of white supremacy. That is why we must show Black power and Black
Unity in the world). The agenda of the elite is neoliberalism and other evils. Even the show SCANDAL like
many shows debase Black Love and glamorize the lying stereotype of an adulterous woman who uses
sex as a means to gain political power (and influence over the Presidency). It is as worship of corruption,
Empire, and whiteness (since the white male President is viewed as flawed but sympathetic). The reality
is that the black male and the black female should speak the truth for real and validate and affirm each
other without white validation (from white people). The show was based on Judy Smith. She handles
crisis management situations in real life. She had a key role in getting Clarence Thomas confirmed to the
U.S. Supreme Court despite Anita Hill’s charges of sexual harassment. She also helped clean things up
for the Republicans during the Iran Contra Scandal. As recently as May of this year, the real life
character behind “SCANDAL” represented Paula Deen, the White TV Cooking Show maven who
outraged Black America for allegedly admitting she fantasized about “owning slaves." You could not make
this stuff up. So, numerous human beings are color are used in the midst of controversies as a means to
be placed as scapegoats for the overall crimes of white supremacy. Now, we realize that Black Women
are Queens and heroes. Black Women should be treated with dignity and respect. It is just that some of
our people have made errors among both genders. The song New Slaves talks about the rise of mass
incarceration and private prisons. The situation is that the agenda of the Western Empire deals with
finance capital hoarding of wealth, neoliberalism, austerity, mass incarceration, the growth of the
surveillance state via the NSA, Homeland Security, etc. There is the privatization of prisons, schools, and
government services. Now that agenda is not just agreed to by Republicans. Some mainstream
Democrats love that agenda as well. Shows that love imperialists and the oppressors or videos that
degrade black men or black women are not things that we should co-sign at all. We have to be real and
reject saying the N word, the B word, the H word, etc. We are strong human beings. We are not those
words at all.

So, folks like Kanye West and Kerry Washington are our Brothers and our Sisters. They
should not be degraded at all. They are the victims of oppression. They are not the
originators of our oppression neither should they be scapegoated for the evils found in
Hollywood or in popular culture at all. We have to look in our own mirrors and improve
our lives also (not just expose the system of white supremacy and the evil 1 percent in
charge of the system). We should show compassion and empathy with each other as black males
and black females. Also, when you have Sinead O'Connor telling Miley Cyrus that she is sending the
wrong message about true femininity, then you know that we have a problem in the world. There is
nothing wrong with love, but we can never exploit love as a means to advance the sexual exploitation of
males or females. O'Connor is right that the music industry in its leadership want money and could care
less about the dignity of the human beings in it. The reality is that males and females should be treated as
equals, inspired to express their full potentials, and not give a single care about the haters nor the
enemies of humanity. In the final analysis, all human beings need love, attention, dignity, justice, and
respect. So, there is nothing wrong with Black Love at all. Also, we should respect black females too. We
are in this situation together. Males and females in general (regardless of color or nationality)
are equally important in the eyes of the Creator and the more some folks realize it, the
better we can get the work of justice and equality completed in the world.

Mark Dice

More and more human beings are talking about Mark Dice. Mark Dice is famous for his comments about
popular culture. He talks about the Illuminati and his views. He recently discussed such issues on Sway's
radio show. Mark Dice is a type of person that is a reactionary. He uses ad hominem attacks against
human beings that he disagrees with. He has arrogance since he mocks human beings who don't know
about the war on terror, civil liberty issues, and other real issues in the world. Instead of mocking people,
he should educate human beings on community development, on spiritual empowerment
in a compassionate fashion, and oppose neoliberalism. Back in the day, we once didn't know
about true wisdom. We should have humility and a great sense of humbleness toward humanity, so many
human beings can see the truth. Now, he is not wrong on all issues. He is right that groups like the CFR,
the Bilderberg Group, the Trilateral Commission, etc. exist. They exist and their members include many
high level political figures, media moguls, corporate executives, and other super rich elites. There is the
agenda of transhumanism promoted in the world. The Bavarian Illuminati existed before and it was
created in 1776 by Adam Weishaupt. It is accurate that many political leaders have advocated the new
world order, an one world system, or one world government. Here are some sources proving this reality:

"For more than a century ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon
well-publicized incidents such as my encounter with Castro to attack the Rockefeller family for the
inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even
believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States,
characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to
build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that’s the charge,
I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."
-SOURCE: David Rockefeller, from his own book, Memoirs.

“We have before us the opportunity to forge for ourselves and for future generations a New World Order.
A world where the rule of law, not the law of the jungle, governs the conduct of nations. When we are
successful, and we will be, we have a real chance at this New World Order. An order in which a credible
United Nations can use its peace-keeping role to fulfil the promise and vision of the UN's founders.”
—President George H. Bush, 1990

“In the U.S. today, we have in effect two governments. We have the duly constituted government, then we
have an independent, uncontrolled and uncoordinated government in the Federal Reserve, operating the
money powers which are reserved to congress by the Constitution.” — Congressman Wright Patman,
Chairman of the House Banking and Currency Committee, in a speech on the House floor in 1967

“The powers of financial capitalism had a far-reaching plan, nothing less than to create a world system of
financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy
of the world as a whole… Their secret is that they have annexed from governments, monarchies, and
republics the power to create the world’s money…” — Professor Carroll Quigley (Renowned, late
Georgetown macro-historian. Mentioned by former President Clinton in his first nomination
acceptance speech), author of Tragedy and Hope.

Dice goes off in the deep end by speculating on celebrities claiming that many celebrities are knowingly
followers of the Illuminati or using ad hominem attacks against folks while claiming to be so spiritual. Yes,
Mark Dice said racist comments before. I wrote about this issue before. Here is a recap. On a video, he
used the N word to a black woman. He said that places called Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd are total
ghettoes. He said that a rapper (named ASAP Rocky) looks like he has been smoking crack and that he
is a rhyming rat. He said that many black people follow primitive tribalism. Mark Dice mocks black people
with using sick slang. He is also a sexist, which is common for racists. So, this male Mark Dice is a
reactionary racist (who has more in common to FOX News than folks like look like me. Obviously, I am a
black man) that exploits information as a means to promote an agenda. His acts hurt not helps true
human liberation and revolutionary movements in the world. The reason is that we should be nonarrogant
with those who do not know what is really going on in the world. Time should be much better
utilized in educating folks, helping folks, and inspiring folks instead mocking
human beings (unbeknownst to them). The real issue is not to being paranoid about the
Illuminati. The real issue is talking about building our communities for real. We should learn about the real
meanings of symbols, we should oppose imperialism (and the wicked actions of the FBI, the CIA, etc.),
endorse independent economic solutions, believe in love for humanity, and we should fight for human civil
liberties. That is the point.

More Modern Updates

A lot of folks talk about Miley Cyrus. A lot of the controversial actions of her are concocted by the elite,
her image is supported by the elite, and her agenda are intentionally created. She is a puppet and being
used to promote the lie that her actions are cool and it overtly and covertly mocks black culture (and
promotes the lie that true black culture is related to debauchery, because Cyrus claims to represent real
hip hop, which she doesn't). Many of these artists are commanded or influenced by handlers as a means
to advance certain trends in society. Yet, any artist should be accountable for their voluntary actions. At
the end of the day, we have to find balance. We don't need to be an authoritarian theocracy where human
rights are violated, but we shouldn't embrace nihilism either. Miley Cyrus was in the Disney Hannah
Montana show. In that show, she acted more innocent in her social disposition. Afterwards, she is acting
in a more controversial, vulgar fashion. Her video called "We Can't Stop" breaks the VEVO record as
gaining the fastest in 100 million VEVO views. The agenda of the establishment certainly is about
advancing wicked pseudo-morality, especially since much of her music is geared toward young children.
That is a shame. The good news is that many human beings are fighting for truth and justice in the world
today. Miley Cyrus' MTV performance (ironically the industry is anti-female and Miley Cyrus is being used
in the anti-female entertainment industry) has been criticized even by liberals as going too far since little
children were watching the awards show. I blame the handlers and the leaders in the entertainment
industry more since those groups intentionally executed such a performance as a means to advance the
agenda of lax morality. We know that VMA awards and other award shows have much occult symbolism
and messages. The performances in such award shows are STAGED. Until 2013, Miley was signed with
Hollywood Records, a record label that was founded by Michael Eisner, the CEO of Disney. Hollywood
Records also owns other child stars such as Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez and the Jonas Brothers. Every
artist in the record label’s stable has a carefully crafted image to be marketed to its target public. Miley is
now working with Britney Spears’ ex-manager Larry Rudolph and signed with RCA records – one of the
biggest music labels in the world that owns the likes of Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Ke$ha. So,
Miley Cyrus is following the good girl gone bad motiff or archetype.

So, we have the right to love wholesomeness. Robin Thicke performed with Miley Cyrus in the VMA
Awards show. Both acted inappropriately with each other when Cyrus is a 20 year old girl and Robin is a
36 year old married man. His video Blurred Lines is blatantly misogynistic. That video has singers with
clothes on while the female models are completely naked and treated as forced sexually objects (or as
slaves. The models in the video are treated as inferior and powerless under the control of the singers).
Blurred Lines is a disgraceful song. Robin Thicke said the following about the song in GQ Magazine on
May of 2013: "...People say, 'Hey do you think this is degrading to women? I'm like, Of course it is. What
a pleasure it is to degrade a woman...We tried to everything that was taboo. Bestiality, drug injections,
and everything that is completely derogatory towards women..." He is too gone and too wrong. The VMA
performance has Cyrus twerking. We need to write about the puppets yes. We should always disagree
with the errors of Miley Cyrus. Yet, we need to see those that pull the strings, who are even worse than
the puppets. The puppets are wrong for some of their actions, but they are following the orders of the
puppet masters directing the wicked show. The machine or the corporate elite controls much of the
actions of artists like Miley Cyrus. We should condemn irrational, recreational drug abuse, sexual
exploitation, any immorality, and other evils in the world too. Her actions are choreographed and staged
as a means to cause a reaction and get people away from the big picture (which is the evil in the industry
is found in the system). There is nothing wrong with prayer either. We should pray for folks to wake up in
a compassionate fashion. We want all people to wake up and open their eyes to the truth at the end of
the day.

Robin Thicke has a bizarre video called “Get Her Back.” The video is self-explanatory. In the video, Robin
Thicke wants to get Paula Patton back in a desperate plea. Robin cheated on his wife and Paula has left
him for real. Time will tell what will happen, but Robin is pleading to her to take him back. The video deals
with the themes of desperate and even death. The imagery of the video is disturbing. The video shows
the story of a stalker with violent plus suicidal tendencies, who harasses his ex-lover. Robin Thicke is well
known for his performance with Miley Cyrus where he fondled her when he is married (the couple
divorced a few months ago). He did this in the 2013 VMAs. His new album is entitled, “Paula.” The music
video is bizarre, emotional, and it shows many messages. Many artists like Robin Thicke promote the
mixture of art, music, love, and relationships with sick, twisted, and debased messages including imagery.
The song talks about how he or Robin Thicke should have never raised his voice and should have done
better actions in his life. The video sows images that could be actual text messages between Thicke and
Patton. Robin Thicke shows his faced as bloody. We don’t know exactly why he did it. The video
continues with many “positive” words mixed with images of evil and violence. The industry in real life
deals with double speech, deceit, semi-subliminal messages, and evil. The words “I’m sorry” in the video
with a shady figure looking to claw someone to death. The video has a person with a mask and a devil
face flashing for a section. These images exist to appeal to the subconscious mind. There are images of
death and a woman drowning while fighting for her life. The video is about the desperation of a man
seeking to reunite with his ex-lover. The video has much mind control imagery, images of death, and a
sense of creepiness. Many of Robin Thicke’s videos and performances deal recently with either
degrading women or acting desperate towards women. Obviously, the video is not a true representation
of love. Love is about moving forward, peace, holiness, life, and peace. We don’t need an Eyes Wide
Shut situation in the world. We need relationships filled with altruism, love, peace, and human justice.

Beyoncé’s New Self-Titled Album

For a while, folks have debated and commented on Beyonce's recent album. Yonce loves music. Usually
on such things, I will take my time here. I took my time to think about Beyonce's new album and the
issues that come with it. I am a fair man and I will be fair here. I had to meditate on this issue.
Her album is called BEYONCE. It was released on December 13, 2013. Beyonce released the album and
videos for the songs in a historic, unprecedented fashion. The album was released by Parkwood
Entertainment and Columbia Records. Beyonce called her album as a visual album. It deals with electro-
R&B and pop elements. The songs deal with the issues of self-empowerment, womanhood, postnatal
depression, love and relationships, and of course sex in an often frank, explicit fashion. Sex is
always a part of human existence. Without sex, most of us wouldn't have existed literally. The album has
17 diverse, unique music videos. Many of the musical contributions came from Boots, Timbaland, and
Pharrell Williams. The album was released to iTunes without prior promotion or announcement. The
album is very popular in the world. It debuted on Billboard 200 as number one with the three day
sales of 617,213 digital copies, giving Knowles her fifth consecutive number-one. It became the
highest first-week sales of her solo career, and the best-selling debut week for a female artist in
2013; six days after release it had sold one million copies worldwide. The album has 14 tracks. The music
has a futuristic sound. A lot of legitimate critiques do exist about the album and the videos. I think that we
should be rational and evaluate the messages, the images, and the lyrics in a fair way. Now, it is
legitimate to mention that Beyonce should be treated with dignity and respect. I love Beyonce as a
mother, as a Sister, and as a human being.

Additionally, we want the best for any human being. Yet, any human being is not immune from
legitimate critique and legitimate advice. No one is immune from that. We all need advice
as a means to be better and do better as human beings. We know that the decision makers
behind the scenes in Hollywood work with the military industrial complex as a means to try to rule society.
That is why many Hollywood celebrities visit the military overseas and many of them don't realize that
imperialism is a grave injustice (especially since it harms heavily human beings of color &
others among multiple continents. The war crimes, the death, and the nefarious brutality
of the war on terror are truly evil). It is the same system that refuses to give humanity universal
health care, true workers' rights, and ending inequalities among humanity. So, we should fight for justice
continually. Now, Beyonce has been used as a scapegoat for the overall evils found in the industry. So,
we should allow Beyonce to be accountable for her own actions while not making her the sole, specific
target on why the industry is what it is at all.

I looked at many points of view to gain a great understanding about this subject. Here are my thoughts. I
believe in self-expression and religious freedom. This image of the Last Supper is sparking controversy
and many Christians will criticize her for it for obvious reasons. I think that Beyoncé can use alternative
methods to express her creativity other than the Last Supper motif. She has that right to express that
image and folks have the right to agree with it or not. Also, that image of the Last Supper is from a man's
interpretation of how Jesus and the apostles looked like it. It is not actually the image of Jesus and his
apostles at all. I believe that Beyoncé can find alternative ways other than the Last Supper image to
express her talent though. We also need to look at those behind the scenes controlling the mainstream
popular culture engine too (as found in elite corporate interests who are also allied with the military
industrial complex). Many of her followers calling her Beysus are wrong too. Legitimate
critiques about this image are fine with me. Yet, I won't condemn her to hell, call her all sorts of names,
and judge her in an inappropriate way. I AM NOT GOD. Imperialism, murder, exploitation, real
religious liberty suppression overseas, and all injustices and mistreatments are more offensive than what
Beyoncé did. Religious expression is important in the world and spirituality should be treated with dignity,
concern, and respect. That is true. We have the right to pray for Beyoncé as a means for her to
improve her life and to gain more wisdom. Her outlining her explanation would be interesting to
realize. Art can stir debate and many artists can have multiple interpretations of their work. Sometimes,
artists don't want others to get their interpretations. They just want the people to interpret for themselves
the meaning of their work. We have to stand up for morality and righteousness too as human beings.
Also, it is important for all of us to live our lives and embrace wisdom. It is very cool for us to help our
neighbors, to have self-reflection, and to stand up against injustice. These actions are very important to
us as a community and it is important among the whole human race in general. Art is Beautiful. I love true
art and it is diverse.

Back in the day, I did sculpture, painting, etc. I know about African art, the Baroque style, Chinese art,
Surrealism, etc. Also, folks are right that the artists use their senses and their imagination to create works.
Great expression comes with it. I appreciate art in a progressive fashion. I knew great people who loved
art as well in real life. Also, it is important to allow the artist to have freedom and accountability for their
work too. I love how many describe art as a type of language. It is in the sense that it can be an extension
of human thinking and human creativity. Being for justice and self-reflection are great things to adhere to.
Sculpturing is a blast. You use sharp instruments and the fun thing about it is that you can get better at it
(with practice). Art is wonderful since you can better at it at different ages too. Also, you get to learn about
glazing, using a kiln, and painting too. Working with clay and mud is great work. Painting gives people
time to enrich their soul. True expression ought not to be contained or limited in a truly free society. Folks
have the right to agree or disagree with an artwork too. The artist can be very perceptive in his work. In
many cases, false perceptions among some will exist until the truth will be revealed. Real clarification is
fine for those who misinterpret the intention of an artist. We should have that balance. We can respect
legitimate artistic expression and we should advance ethics and true improvement in our community at
the same time.

To fairly evaluate the Beyoncé album, I will analyze the least controversial songs first and the most
controversial songs last (We all know her most controversial songs on the album. LOL. That
is self-explanatory). Her songs Blue and Pretty Hurts outline many important issues of love and body
self-image in the world. Blue is about the love that she has for her daughter named Ivy. We all wish more
blessings for Ivy. Blue is about the human being that the father and the mother cherish with all of their
hearts. The song comes from a sincere place since we all cherish children. Having a child or children is a
great blessing from the CREATOR. I respect Beyoncé’s love her own daughter. Her love for Ivy is truly
beautiful. We all want her and her family to be stronger and to be blessed in a great fashion. Inner
strength is a necessity in our lives. Without it, we can never reach our total, true potential in our lives. I
think that song Pretty Hurts was real. I felt her sincerity in the song and in the video. Also, the elite in that
world are wickeder than her. Some folks refuse to make a distinction between artists and the powers that
be that try to harm society. So, we have to have a balance. We should expose evil in any industry (we
should research about symbolism and things of that nature. We should oppose the evil actions of the PTB
with strength and vigor. We should always advocate morality and righteousness in the world), but we
should not call every single musician an Illuminati member or some paranoid statement. We certainly
know the truth. The truth is that the gift of black musicians should not be degraded. The
truth is that we are fighting for truth, justice, and common decency. With faith, hope, and
action, we will win. Self-improvement is great and we all want Beyoncé to be the best that she can be.

The message of Pretty Hurts is transparent. At the end of the day, beauty is something that is precious in
the world. It is diverse and never monolithic. Beauty exists in many colors, shapes, and sizes as the old
cliché goes. Hope and inspiration should be sent to those suffering self-image issues. Women suffer
much extreme humiliation in real life, so we should be progressive by respecting any female of any
background via a mature fashion. Also, True beauty is when a human being honestly expresses true
dignity, true humanity, and true honor in the world. How we treat each other and how we endorse justice
is very beautiful too. XO describes about love between human beings. She used sounds from the
Challenger disaster in the beginning of the song & video of XO. In retrospect, she should have not used
that, but I don't believe she had malice intent in utilizing that sound in her song. Her song Heaven is about
spirituality and it is influenced by Catholic themes in her video (with the beads, etc.). With that being said,
you know I will outline information about her more controversial records and videos. Jealous is about
song being human in Beyoncé’s mind.

Her more controversial songs of videos of Blow, Haunted, Drunk in Love, Partition, Yonce, Blow Down,
etc. deals with similar subjects of empowerment, femininity, human sexuality, love, fantasies, and visions.
The song Yonce is interesting. LOL. Yonce is Yonce. Yonce is Beyonce's new nickname. The video of
Yonce describes Beyonce using real life fashion models as a means for her to express her feminine
strength, great feminine beauty, and feminine empowerment in general. Obviously, Beyonce is a Beautiful
Sister no doubt, but she is also a wife and a Mother. So, I will treat any woman with dignity and with
respect. The models admire Beyonce's body and Beyonce admires the model's bodies. Beyonce talks
about her beauty and twerks. We live in a new generation indeed. This generation is something else to
put it lightly. I feel like an old man, but I'm not. LOL. I think that the twerking is unnecessary in that
instance since she can express her beauty in other fashions. They or the famous models and Beyoncé
celebrate their power in the world. The models shown in the video Yonce are Joan Smalls, Chanel
Iman and Jourdan Dunn (all beautiful, talented women). The model industry has
imperfections ironically enough. The video of Yonce use huge drum beats and it is organic in its
arrangement or composition. The video of Blow Down portrays Beyoncé as like a European Queen like
Queen Elizabeth when European Monarchs historically harmed people of color, especially black people
for centuries via the Maafa, imperialism, economic exploitation via cut throat capitalism, and colonialism.
The truth is that we can deal with the ignorant haters without saying those lyrics from the Bow Down
song. We can strive to be more moral, fight injustice, and educate humanity on our value & our great
dignity as human beings. The haters’ lies don’t matter at the end of the day. The truth
matters. These videos have tons of symbolism and discusses about human sexuality again. Blow Down
was about Beyoncé trying to defend herself against her critics. The symbolism in the videos deals with
sacred geometry, viscis piscis (as found in the Ghost video), the one eye, etc. Beyoncé is rather honest
about her fantasies and sexuality in the videos of those songs like Haunted.

The best policy when dealing with such issues is balance. We should never be ashamed of our sexuality
and respect for sex legitimately is a great thing. Yet, we have to temper that respect for sex by not being
inappropriate too (as in my view, some of the stuff and some of the lyrics in those more controversial
songs and videos go too far like in Blow, Drunk in Love, and Partition). I don't want to be drunk in
love. I want to sober in truth, and sober in love with righteousness. I don't want to be drunk
with the materialism, lies, and perversion of modern day Babylon, but I will love women (with a
social & romantic love) and I will love the total TRUTH AS WELL. There is nothing
wrong with a woman and a man loving each other in a real fashion though. We
should advance more Black Love in the world. Nothing is wrong with Black Love.
Many artists push boundaries and that is commonplace among the time frame of human history. So,
when you look fairly at the album it shows great talent, many legitimate themes, some things that I think
go too far, and you witness the diversity of Beyoncé’s emotions and visions. We wish the Sister Beyoncé
the best in her life like we wish any human being.

The Unique Christmas Card

The Kardashian family 2013 Christmas card outlines the mainstream, corporate controlled entertainment
industry and its wickedness & contradictions in full display. A lot of folks have in set views on the
Kardashians. You know my views on the Kardashians. It is what it is. Now, the Christmas card is
interesting since it has a lot of symbolism in it. The card is less about spirituality and more about
materialism and the decadence of Western society. The card was shot by the elite photographer David
Lachapellle. The card is grim and summarized the entertainment rule over the lives of many all of the way
through. The industry is not only allied with the murderous military industrial complex. It is allied with Big
Pharma, and the rest of the corporate engines of control over the masses of society. The industry is ruled
by shadowy elite (with their bankers and billionaire heads of the corporations running distributions and
media conglomerates) that readily promotes a toxic culture. There is much symbolism in the card that
deals with the occult, the industry, Illuminist themes, etc. I can’t show all facets of that “Christmas” card
because that card is very graphic in some areas. The shot deals with an abandoned movie theater. The
movie theater seems to be destroyed and vandalized. Tons of things are going on in the card from left to
right. Kim Kardashian is there in the card posing with a revealing outfit. Her image, which is Eurocentric,
is highly lusted by many. The reality is that humanity is diverse and humanity should be treated with
dignity and respect. Yet, there is nothing wrong with loving and appreciating the beautiful black African
phenotype either. The truth is that:

Black is Beautiful.

Her fame and family links are many reasons why she is where she is now. There is a dollar sign to her,
which is self-explanatory. Money and profit lusted after has been a reality of companies during this time of
the year. The Jenner sisters pose in a strange way. They pose in front of 2 All Seeing Eye pyramids. The
All Seeing Eye found in the One dollar bill has many meanings. There are dismembered mannequins
(which is a symbol of mind control and the debasement of human life. Mind control and the debasement
of human life have been common among the CIA, the industry, and other factions of world power for eons
of human history). There is the image of the Mother and Child archetype, which is a mockery of Mary and
Jesus Christ. Kyle wears a vulva shaped headdress. She looks like a high priestess. The sisters stand on
a pile of celebrity magazines, representing garbage (since many of such magazines advance distraction,
lies, disinformation, and non-relevant issues to build up humanity). Ironically, they build their careers on
such magazines though. Behind the sisters at the base of the pyramid is an image of the box of
Wheaties. It has the image of Bruce Jenner when he was an Olympic athlete. Khole Kardashian poses
while sitting on the backseat of a car. Kourtney’s son Mason lays on it. The rest of the family either looks
distress or full of happiness. The whole money transactions in life can be complicated. Many celebrities
lust after fame, but fame has its price. It is not all it cracked up to be. There are images of African mothers
and babies in the background. This is ironic since many celebrities adopt African babies and these babies
are stripped from their African mothers constantly. Also, many celebrities exploit celebrities of black
African descent (or black people in general) as a means to gain profit or to seek cultural exploitation.
Many do not care about black people at all, which is historic. This card outlines what the industry is all
about. It deals with mind control, superficiality, materialism, exploitation (even of children), and distraction.
P.S. Christmas came from paganism and many Christians then and now (including non-Christians)
oppose it for various reasons. So, we should focus on loving our families, working to enrich humanity,
rejecting materialism, loving Africa, and rejecting token fame (and embrace true happiness in our lives). It
is as simple as that. Although, there is nothing is wrong with praising God, doing almsgiving, helping your
neighbors, and contributing positive efforts on December 25 though. Any day should be an
opportunity for us to perform righteous actions.

The 2014 Grammy Awards

Many award shows act as almost rituals. The 2014 Grammy Awards is no exception. The Grammys
reflect the view of modern society among the elite. The award ceremony has been financed and
supported by the elite. We know that certain artists have been restricted, omitted, and some artists won
awards that ere controversial to say the least. That is why the intelligent, Beautiful Sister India Arie told
the truth about the Grammys. The Grammy Awards these years has been overt in pushing an occult
agenda and an agenda with controversial performances. Many folks are talking about Katy Perry
performance in which it is similar to a witchcraft ritual disguised as just a regular act (and Beyoncé’s
controversial performance). There were other musicians there like Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Willie
Nelson, and Metallica performing live. There were younger artists performing like Beyoncé, Katy Perry,
and Macklemore. In such awards shows, there is symbolism. There are specific messages, and agendas
promoted in the whole situation too. Many folks have a skeptic attitude about Grammys because of their
biases and because many of the performances seem off or possess a blatantly occult quality to them.
There is the Beyoncé’s Drunk in Love performance. Many researchers believe that her clothing is similar
to the Beta programming (including Monarch programming symbolism in her album). She is dressed in a
leotard dancing with her husband. She looks similar to her role in the video called Partition. Many folks
supported her performance and others raised reservations about the suggestive performance at the
Grammys, the lyrics, and the song being shown at 8pm. (when many children are up looking at it). Her
performance was similar to her visual album, which has shown tons of controversial, suggestive videos.
She shouldn't be called every name under the sun (the Sister should be treated with dignity and with
respect as I have always written and said), but we should make sure that sexuality is not exploited in the
eyes of our children.

Katy Perry's performance deals with witchcraft themes. One voice in the start of the performance said
that: "...She casts spells from crystal balls. Invoking spirits. She put me in a trance..." Katy Perry is in a
crystal ball. She sings while four horned demon like figures rise above her. They have Baphomet like
horns. Katy gets out of the crystal ball moves around her backup dancers remotely controlled them like
they were under her spell. The song and performance deal with folks under occult possession not about
love. The song is reflection of how society loves the occult. She wears a Templar cross and summons a
bluish colored horse. Such a horse is similar to the horse found in the Denver International Airport (which
is a placed filled with various Masonic & occult symbolism). A circle of fire surrounds her. The horned
figures watch over her. The witch's broom turned into a stripper pole.

We know that the Knights Templar were a group of priest warriors. They were accused of magic rituals
and other things. There is a debate on whether they influenced the creation of Freemasonry, the Bavarian
Illuminati, and other occult orders. We know that Crowley's O.T.O deals with such rituals. Continuing in
the exact same vein as Perry’s magick-themed performance, the Grammy’s were also used to promote
the latest Disney movie “Maleficent." The movie deals with a horned evil witch from Sleeping Beauty. The
movie has the witch place a curse on baby Aurora and this is promoted to children. The trailer ends with
Maleficent saying: "...There is evil in this world. Hatred. And Revenge … HAHAHAHAHAH!” There are
other ceremonies in the Grammys as well filled with a mock church, etc. So, we know that Grammy
Awards those accepted to the mainstream industry. The establishment wants the youth to accept this
propaganda of the exploitation of human sexuality, of selfishness, of greed, of materialism, of glamorizing
the occult, and the glamorization of other detrimental concepts too. In closing, here is some of India Arie
said in her criticisms of the Grammys. She is just telling the truth (There were black artists in the
Grammys this year, but they were not fairly represented at all in the Grammys this year):

“…Though it’s called “Music industries biggest night” the #Grammys are NOT about the music, it’s a
popularity contest. The voting process allows people, to vote on name recognition alone – the music
industry politics is a whole NUTHER conversation. Too much to go into here.

The American Music Awards is a show that awards sales and popularity – the #Grammys are SAID to be
about the music.

If the hip hop community voted on hip hop – r&b COMMUNITY the same – same for each category –
we’d see winners that reflect the MUSIC ITSELF. We all know that’s just not the way it goes.

NOW the BIGGER losers, are ALL of black music. Where was the black music community represented in
last nights #Grammy show? Performers and Winners (or not) … Where were the black artists?

And this isn’t the first time the #Grammy’s has had a show all but excluding young black America and
black artists in general, although we set the worlds musical trends…The truth is in a perfect world
diversity would matter, and respect would be rampant, but the TRUTH is, The #Grammys is a television
show, and in THAT world ratings reign supreme. So, in general, bigger names take the stage, and sadly
the biggest names often times ARE BIGGER drawn along racial lines from the release of an album. i.e.
marketing dollars, and just general support. It’s unfortunate.”

Lady Gaga’s Unique Video

Lady Gaga recently released her new video of her song “G.U.Y.” It has multiple meanings and it has
plenty of symbolism that ought to be investigated. The video is unique and it is certain ecletic. Overtly,
some may not understand all of the meanings in the video completely. When you eliminate the surface,
the truth about the music video becomes apparent. The video deals with the occult elite’s philosophy and
mythology. Lady Gaga has a strong fan base and we see the changes in popular culture since her arrival
on the mainstream scene. The long video shows some of the Real Housewives of Hollywood playing
instruments, there’s Michael Jackson being resuscitated, and there are Legos. The video shows Millie
Brown sticking her finger down her throat and vomit a green substance all over Gaga. This action is not
socially enlightening. She or Lady Gaga claims to promote enlightenment, but she is glamorizing things
that she claims that she is denouncing like bulimia (which is a self-destructive, abhorrent behavior). The
first scene of the video shows Lady Gaga as a fallen angel. Men in suits fight in a field grabbing dollar
bills and then Lady Gaga is found on the ground with wings on her back. Gaga is pierced by an arrow by
one of the suit guys holding a bow. This story is similar to the story of Lucifer of course. Some interpret
the suited men as music industry exploiters. John Milton’s “Paradise Lost” depicts the fall of Lucifer in
strong detail. To occultists, there is a symbolic link between Lucifer, Venus, and Ishtar. Gaga gets us and
walks in front of the Hearst Castle (filled with advanced technology). That castle was created in real life by
newspaper tycoon William Randolph Hearst, one of the most powerful and richest men in American
history and the inspiration behind the film Citizen Kane. The mansion used to be a popular meeting point
for Hollywood stars and the political elite. Like Gaga’s work, the Hearst Castle combined entertainment
and the occult elite. According to Fritz Springmeier’s research, William Randolph Heart was into
paganism. Hearst, the Rockefellers, Whitneys, and Vanderbilts were either high level elitists or they
funded Billy Graham’s religious crusades too. So, Hearst had many links to the elite. Lady Gaga
obviously wants to sell mythology to the youth.

The song of Venus begins when Lady Gaga comes into the castle. The symbol of the star of Ishtar is
found in the castle. There is a death and rebirth ritual in the song. Like her many videos, the story
appears to be uplifting, but really it shows the message of factory created brainwashed people mixed with
overt occult symbolism that glorify elite repression, mind control, and various mythologies.

The 2014 World Cup

There are many stories about the World Cup from performance of the American soccer team to the
games that existed among other national teams. Soccer is an international sport and it is hugely popular
globally. Many people are taking about the World Cup in Brazil. Progressives and other revolutionary
activists are absolutely right to mention the issues of race, class, etc. that involve itself in Brazil. Big
business and Brazilian government wanted the World Cup to exist in Brazil. Yet, the issue is that
economic inequality still plague Brazil. Black and Brown human beings in Brazil struggle for fight for
access for basic services like education, healthcare, sanitation, and security. The police in Brazil have
forced the poor to live in slums away from the beaches and hotels. Sao Paulo Arena in Brazil’s largest
city is hosting the world cup. The stadium costs about 11 billion dollars and 8 workers died from the
construction work. There have been anti-Cup protests, because human beings want jobs and economic
rights. Others want better public transportation, fair wages, security, etc. But as evidenced by their use of
the slogan “Não vai ter Copa!” (“There will be no Cup!”), it is clear that they intend to use the lavish
international spectacle both as a symbol of their concerns and a spotlight to shine on them. Protest
organizer Antonio Carlos Costa told Agence France Presse, "We want the Brazilian government to ask
the nation’s forgiveness because it promised something it never delivered. It invested a fortune of public
money in things that weren’t necessary.” A recent Pew poll found that 61% of respondents believed
hosting the World Cup is a ”bad thing” “because it takes money away from public services.” There have
been brave people in Brazil who have organized strikes, protests and strike threats. These people are
teachers, airline employees, and other workers. The government has used intimidation and even
repression as a means to try to stop the protesters. Brazil has a long history of racism. A large segment of
Brazil today is of black African descent.

There are more Afro-Brazilians living in Brazil than African Americans living in the USA. Brazil was the
last nation in the Americas to abolish slavery. Brazil used a racial miscegenation policy called
branquaemento (or whitening) that tried to eliminate the black population in Brazil via a racist fashion.
Classist policies existed in Brazil as well. Brazil was once done by the wealthy, mostly British elites for
years. In 1923, more than two decades before Jackie Robinson broke the color line in American baseball,
the Vasco de Gama soccer club in Rio de Janeiro fielded a team consisting primarily of black and mixed-
race athletes. The squad went on to win the city championship that year, breaking the color line in
Brazilian soccer with emphasis. Afro-Brazilians have a strong culture in Brazil too. Brazil has won World
Cups and even National team striker Romario de Souza Faria has criticized social inequalities and is a
strong supporter of the ongoing protests in Brazil. He is right to do this. Brazil’s government razed
people’s houses to build soccer stadium parking lots. We see the capitalist bonanza of the World Cup.
We have the right to have solidarity to the movements opposed to capitalistic exploitation, racism, and the
criminalization of the poor. We oppose oppression and all Brazilians need equality regardless if the World
Cup exists in Brazil or not.

There is the human cost of the FIFA World Cup. People are protesting the costs and the human rights
violations being committed by the police and security forces as a means for them to protect this corporate
investment. Working people in Brazil are against the high public cost of the World Cup, which is estimated
at $14 billion. When compared to spending on social services, the cost of the World Cup is equivalent of
61% of funding for education, or 30% of the funding for healthcare. Private companies, including those in
the services and construction industries, will be the main beneficiaries of this public money. This cost is
made worse by the forced evictions of the poor living in fevalas (or slums) and the dispossession of the
indigenous people from their lands, so the corporate elite in Brazil to build stadiums and parking lots.
Over 1 million people in Brazil have protested the costs of the World Cup. The cutbacks to social services
have increased the costs of social services, it has caused forced evictions, and it has caused other
human rights violations. The state security services have cracked down harshly on all anti-FIFA
demonstrations across Brazil. There have been at least a dozen or more people killed and hundreds have
been arrested. Even on the first day of World Cup, 47 people were arrested. The police also shot rubber
bullets at medics helping the wounded. These same state security services have been accused of killing
the poor and the homeless including children (as a means for them to get rid of favelas before the start of
the World Cup). Brazil has pushed to pass legislation that will criminalize all anti-FIFA protests and
terrorism (with 12 to 30 year prison sentences for those convicted). This is fascism. The state have used
Israeli drones, 200,000+ troops, German anti-aircraft tanks, rooftop missile defense systems, etc. to
protect the World Cup from protesters. It is alleged that the former mercenary company previously known
as Blackwater years ago is helping with security for the World Cup. The cost was huge for the 2012
London Olympics too. During the London 2012 Olympics, 10,000 police officers and 13,000 troops, more
than all British forces in Afghanistan, along with ships in the Thames, fighter jets, and surface to air
missile defense systems, were deployed to protect the $11 billion event. At a time when 2 million are
unemployed, 27% of children live in poverty, and austerity budgets are being forced on working people,
$11 billion came at a significant cost to working people. Even the Sochi Winter Olympics cost a huge $51
billion when 18 million Russians live in poverty and migrant workers are paid less than 2 dollars an hour
to build the necessary infrastructure. In 2022, Qatar will host the FIFA World Cup. Now, hundreds of
migrant workers have died working on the World Cup infrastructure. Over 400 Nepalese and 700 Indian
workers have been have are already among the casualties. The conditions migrant workers are forced to
work in have been compared to slavery. Robert Booth for the Guardian explains:

“Workers described forced labour in 50C (122F) heat, employers who retain salaries for several
months and passports making it impossible for them to leave and being denied free drinking
water. The investigation found sickness is endemic among workers living in overcrowded and
insanitary conditions and hunger has been reported. Thirty Nepalese construction workers took
refuge in their country’s embassy and subsequently left the country, after they claimed they
received no pay.”

The International Trade Union Confederate has estimated that 12 workers will die each week and about
4,000 will have died before the event starts. Working people worldwide have fought against the financial
and social costs of these international corporate events. We witness millions of people being forced into
unemployment and denied their basic needs. We see democracy being eroded, the environment
destroyed, and the threat of more war increasing, but we have hope. We will continue to fight for a better
future and use hope and action.

I head of this issue before. I read one article on this issue entitled, “Race, Class, and the World Cup in
Brazil” by Mike LaSusa. Another article that I have read was written by Nicole Froio too. I think that Pele is
an excellent player. He is a talented man. Yet, there are forces worse than him in Brazil. Instead of
focusing on one man alone, we should be focusing also on the political repression that Brazilian
government forces have done against protesters (and the overall racial oppression confronting Afro-
Brazilian peoples). Many protesters have expressed disagreement with income inequality and the
Brazilian government bulldozing of the fevalas or the housing complexes. Brazil have spent millions of
dollars to develop the World Cup at the expense of the lives of the poor and suffering. Regardless of your
views on the World Cup, the anti-World Cup demonstrators don’t deserve to be repressed of their political
right to protest. The social needs of 200 million Brazilians take precedence over the 11 billion dollars
spent on the World Cup building. There has been many militarized police occupying the favelas too near
the games. Now, Pele is not perfect either. He has said that the Brazilian population should quit
protesting and he said that corruption has nothing to do with the World Cup (when racist signs have
existed in the World Cup games, etc.). I am in solidarity with the protesters wanting Brazil to have more
investments in education, workers’ rights, health, transportation, and real freedom for all Afro-Brazilians.
Romário de Souza Faria has accused Pele of not having awareness of the political events in his country. I
believe that Pele with his stature should do more to talk about political matters in Brazil (and to fight
oppression more overtly). Yet, I don't believe that he should be called out of his name and so forth. He is
not my enemy. He is a Brother who made great accomplishments in his life and he has imperfections.
Also, he can improve his life with motivation not ridicule. I wish the Brother Pele the best. We should
improve our lives too.

At the end of the day, the people have every right to legitimately oppose
neoliberalism, corrupt state power, and imperialism in the world (which is about
promoting the agenda of oligarchy).

The Real History Behind the Butler movie

There is more research about the Butler movie that should be known. The movie was never totally
controlled by black people. The screenwriter of the movie was created by Danny Strong. The owners of
the distributions rights to the movie are Harvey Weinstein and David Glasser. These are white people.
The majority of the producers of the film are white people, so this film is the Hollywood interpretation of
our black liberation struggle (not the total, true representation of it). The Butler was film based on the life
of Eugene Allen. Eugene Allen was an African American who worked in the White House for 34 years
from the days of President Harry Truman to the second term of Ronald Reagan. The movie tried to
encompass the period form the mid 1920's to the election of President Barack Obama in 2008. The story
deals with encounters between a black worker and the upper echelons of the American political elite.
Eugene Allen in real life did not grow up in a farm in Georgia. He was born in a segregated town in central
Virginia. He suffered a lot of racism and discrimination in his life. Any racism and discrimination is evil and
unjustifiable. He worked as a waiter in a white only resorts and country clubs. In the Haygood article,
Allen said, “We never had anything. I was always hoping things would get better.” His suffered the
evils of racism and Jim Crow in the South. The evils of racism and Jim Crow were the functions of race
and class. These items were instituted to harm the rights of black people and exploit the poverty of
humanity among many backgrounds. Violent atrocities committed by maddened racists were
commonplace. Allen's wife Helene was never an alcoholic or committed adultery against her husband. In
addition, Eugene and Helene had only one son, Charles, who was never a Freedom Rider or a Black
Panther. So, any scene that pertains to the Black Panther is totally fiction. The characters of Louis and
Carol in the movie as Black Panthers never occurred in real life. The movie slandered the Black Panthers
as a bunch of thuggish, disrespectful, disorganized black people. The truth is that the Black
Panthers were made up of intelligent, organized, and strong black men and women who
fought for justice. They worked in breakfast programs, numerous community programs,
they monitored police, and they created health clinics for human beings. They were working
in service of the people. The following described the goals of the heroic Black Panther Party of Self
Defense:

“…Freedom, full employment for blacks, and end to capitalist exploitation of the black
community, decent housing, education, [most importantly] an African American based
education [which led to implementation of numerous African American Studies programs
and Ethnic studies programs throughout the nation], exemption from military service, and
end to police brutality, freedom for black prisoners, fair representation in trials…” (James A.
Tyner “Defend the Ghetto” p.108)

*AT THE END OF THE DAY, IT IS ABOUT HELPING THE PEOPLE.

He or Charles did go to Vietnam, but survived (unlike his cinematic counterpart) and went on to work for
the US State Department. The movie's depictions of the black White House staff dealt with their economic
oppression. The filmmakers carefully depict how these workers perform their duties, in the course of
which they reveal their frustration with their demeaning conditions. (When Eugene Allen started at the
White House, he was a “pantry man” washing dishes and polishing silverware. The job paid $2,400 a year
[$20,800 in 2013 dollars], compared to the national average wage of $3,400). The movie dealt with the
evolution of the civil rights movement. It touched on well-known events and ended with the 2008
Presidential election. There was nothing shown about the August 1963 march on Washington—the
largest integrated demonstration that had ever taken place in the nation’s capital. The March on
Washington was about human beings demanding jobs and justice, because humans wanted to end
racism and economic exploitation.

The movie ignores Malcolm X as well. Malcolm X back in February 4, 1965 in Selma, Alabama (to SNCC
youth) gave a great description of that nefarious white supremacy group of the Klan. Here are his
following words:

"...I hope I haven’t put anybody on the spot. I’m not intending to try and stir you up and make you do
something that you wouldn’t have done anyway. I pray that God will bless you in everything that you do. I
pray that you will grow intellectually, so that you can understand the problems of the world and where you
fit into, in that world picture. And I pray that all the fear that has ever been in your heart will be taken out,
and when you look at that man, if you know he’s nothing but a coward, you won’t fear him. If he wasn’t a
coward, he wouldn’t gang up on you. He wouldn’t need to sneak around here. This is how they function.
They function in mobs-that’s a coward. They put on a sheet so you won’t know who they are-that’s a
coward. No! The time will come when that sheet will be tipped off. If the federal government doesn’t take
it off, we’ll take it off..."

Malcolm X was right in his words. Also, Malcolm X never became an integrationist to the establishment
after his trip to Mecca. What he did change was his views on race, race relationships, and the possibility
of an eventual brotherhood. He changed some of his views and he became more progressive while not
changing his overall core convictions. After Mecca, he continued to travel in Africa and held numerous
discussions with many revolutionary Africans. Malcolm X understood that racial oppression was not just
about bigotry, but it also involves economic, political, social, and cultural exploitation from the oppressor.
Malcolm X became an internationalist and he wanted to execute actions as a means to internationalize
the struggle. He accurately saw that racism and capitalism are linked and that you can’t have capitalism
without racism (for capitalism in essence causes competition, divisions, and exploitation leaving many
human beings suffering). We need to formulate a politically independent means to address the needs of
our people and the rest of humanity.

It shows the assassination of Dr. King in April of 1968, but it also shown a video of Jesse Jackson talking
about the killing. The rebellions that followed the assassination were in response to the brutal conditions
in the ghettoes created by the evil power structure. Jesse Jackson is now the Democratic Party operative.
Jesse Jackson has helped many black people (to his credit) even if I don’t agree with all of his views on
economic matters. Now, we know that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in a turning point of his
life. He started to see the truth that the struggles of black people in America were linked to the working
class in the world (and that we should fight for social justice at home and we should oppose imperialism.
He spoke out forcefully and courageously against the Vietnam War). THE STRUGGLE FOR JUSTICE IS
AN INTERNATIONAL STRUGGLE. WHEN WE SEE A BROTHER OR A SISTER FIGHTING FOR
JUSTICE WHETHER THEY LIVE IN THE STATES OR IN BRAZIL, WE ARE IN SOLIDARITY WITH
THAT BROTHER OR SISTER. REGARDLESS, ANY HUMAN SHOULD EXPERIENCE LIBERTY AND
JUSTICE. Dr. Martin Luther King was a genius who accurately described poverty in these terms:
“…The time has come for an all-out war against poverty. The rich nations must use their
vast resources of wealth to develop the underdeveloped, school the unschooled and feed the
unfed. The well-off and the secure have too often become the indifferent and oblivious to
the poverty and deprivation in their midst. The poor in our countries have been shut out of
our minds, and driven from the mainstream of our societies, because we have allowed them
to become invisible. Ultimately a great nation is a compassionate nation. No individual or
nation can be great if it does not have a concern of “the least of these…All men are
interdependent. Every nation is an heir of a vast treasure of ideas and labor to which both
the living and the dead of all nations have contributed.... We are everlasting debtors to
known and unknown men and women....In a real sense, all life in interrelated. The agony of
the poor impoverishes the rich; the betterment of the poor enriches the rich. We are
inevitably our brother’s keepers because we are our brother’s brother. Whatever affects one
directly affects all indirectly….” (Dr. Martin Luther King, Where Do We Go from Here: Chaos or
Community? New York: Harper & Row, Publishers, 1967).

The night before his assassination, King told a group of striking sanitation workers in Memphis,
Tennessee the following words:

“We’ve got to give ourselves to this struggle until the end. Nothing would be
more tragic than to stop at this point in Memphis. We’ve got to see it through.”

Some of this spirit of struggle is shown in The Butler, but it has omitted important parts of the struggle.
Eugene Allen has an unique life that should be known, but the film deals with many omissions. The reality
is that the sacrifices made by human beings in the civil rights struggle ought to be remembered and that
struggle didn't end with the election of Barack Obama (who is a center left politician with some of the most
reactionary, anti-democratic foreign policy positions in the past 25 years). There is sympathy for Nixon’s
downfall as shown in the film and, after all, Reagan was a good sort—didn’t Nancy Reagan (Jane Fonda)
invite Cecil and Gloria to a state dinner as guests, not servants? The movie has an interesting scene
where Nixon talked in promotion of black capitalism (as a means to end the Black Panther movement),
which was a detriment to black America. Richard Nixon was divisive man and he committed massive evils
in America. I don’t respect him at all. That ideology of “black capitalism” caused the emergence of
conservative, self-absorbed petty bourgeois constituencies. Also, some in the black middle class was
exploited as a means to be part of the new "left" constituency for American imperialism. The movie at the
end describes the Presidency of Barack Obama. President Barack Obama is viewed as the culmination of
many of the events of the civil rights movement. President Barack Obama is part of the Dream. He is not
the fulfillment of the Dream. Also, he is the spokesman of the elite showing a reactionary, pro-Wall Street,
militarist agenda in the world. Yet, I do believe that the President, the First Lady, and his family ought to
be treated with dignity and with respect. I admire the love between the family of the White House indeed.
The First Lady is a very intelligent, beautiful Sister. So, when you look at real history, we can always
respect the struggle of black humanity. Also, we should know that the struggle is not over and we should
continue to fight for justice.

Spirituality and Mainstream Popular Culture

This is an important issue since I wanted the world to know the truth. A lot of shows have religious folks
talking about cars, rims, and money. So, the following words are my succinct views on this issue of
materialism and spirituality. I write about this since shows like Preachers of LA, etc. are popular in society.
These shows advance the Prosperity Gospel. Many adherents of this doctrine may have created some of
their wealth in some ways. Yet, some of them got much of their total wealth from his congregation and
others via the cash & resources of parishioners, etc. No human is an island. That prosperity gospel
revolves around the lie that being poor is a direct curse from God and anyone who is poor is someone
lacking from authentic spirituality. That deceptive gospel dehumanizes the poor and nearly deifies wealth.
For true prosperity is moral development and social growth beyond just material abundance. Also,
material abundance is never a true sign of spiritual strength or spiritual enlightenment at all. Spiritual
strength exists among folks from across the economic spectrum. The reality is that the poor should be
respected and many of the most horrendous crimes in world history have been organized and executed
by members of the super-rich. The poor believer and the rich believer are equal in the eyes of the
Creator. Each human born has great value. We as black people are one irrespective of class or wealth.
The Holocaust was funded not by the poor totally, but by the super-rich. The Maafa and international
slavery was not organized by the poor directly, but by the super rich. It is that heresy of the Prosperity
Gospel that has commercialized the Gospel in great measure, which is a disgrace. This commercialism is
related to the excesses of capitalism (whose most vicious form murdered over one billion human beings
since the 16th century). Real religious leaders should be encouraged to question the current economic
system, to fight for black liberation, to fight for human civil liberties, to oppose unwarranted spying, to
reject imperialism, and to fight for justice for the poor including the oppressed. In the 21st century with the
advent of more advanced technological development, we should still fight for great social change in the
globe. We must never reject the realities of history. Real spirituality is focusing on the mind, body, soul,
and spirit. It is about having a connection with yourself and the Creator. It is about caring for Nature and
the environment (as the Great Sister Courtney has outlined). It is about fighting injustice and fighting for
truth. It is not about lusting for money and it is not about allying with an establishment that could care less
about the interests of the people. Real spirituality deals with Love for God is Love. Faux spirituality is big
business, but there are sincere males and sincere females who embrace true spirituality in life for real.

Now, it is important that while we disagree with folks like those prosperity preachers (we know their
names), we should not disrespect them since they are human beings. There are folks in the 1 percent
worse than these prosperity preachers. I will never disparage a Brother or a Sister at all, but I will show
dissent with oppression and injustice though. I fully dissent with the Prosperity Gospel 100%.

The common saying of some is that we must prosper, so that justifies the Prosperity Gospel. It is a
common saying in the crowd of the world. Some just mention that we just want to prosper and nothing
more. What is true prosperity? In the spiritual traditions of the world, true prosperity has always
been linked to the so-called little things. It is related to the love of family, the help to the
poor, treating our neighbors as ourselves, and true devotion to truth including justice.
True prosperity is beyond a checkbook or the amount of resources that you have. It is the
spiritual insight and the good works of love and true compassion irrespective of
someone's material cash or wealth. We are not saved by our works alone, but it is right
for us to do good works though. Being poor is never a curse from God as numerous prosperity
Gospel advocates believe. The Prosperity Gospel has been linked to the heresies from the Word of Faith
movement. We cannot serve God and Mammon at the same time. We make a choice.

So, our real job is to fight for change, but not rely on wealth as a litmus test for true spiritual growth (as
this truth refutes the notion of the prosperity gospel since I never recall Yeshua or tons of ancient
prophets having massive gold, massive silver, or massive treasures in this world. Yeshua and his
followers were assaulted, hated by the wealthy elite in their day, beaten, killed, and rejected of men).
Yeshua, Mattithyahu, Yokhanon, and others lived lives on the run and they readily told some to give up
their wealth in order for them to see the Kingdom. So, prosperity does not mean that everything will be
perfect. Real prosperity is when your heart grows and when you are inspired by the light of God to help
society, show the Good News, and enjoy moral including spiritual insights of the world society. The early
Church prospered in gaining more members, yet most were poor and some were killed by lions. They
prospered in outlining an example of courage and them having the right to express religious freedom
amidst the brutality of the Roman Empire. You prosper by growing your spirit and your soul. You prosper
by reflecting in your life as a means to develop moral development. That is true prosperity. True
prosperity is when you become a better person, you become a more spiritual person, and money is not
superior to human life (for money has no inner living being). There is nothing wrong with having money
and making a living. Yet, making a living or having wealth is not a prerequisite for human salvation.
Yeshua (Peace is always with his name) led an example that true wealth is helping your neighbor and
growing a spiritual connection with the Creator.

The worldly preachers can never show me any verse where John was a billionaire or Paul or Peter. How
did they or these men live? How did they die? They never died in mansions. They died either by murder,
old age, or exile. They lived a dangerous life and true prosperity is following God's will regardless if a
human is rich or poor. That is the point. Also, folks cannot show me any evidence that Yeshua was a
super-rich person or that he owned tons of gold while he was on this Earth at all. He was the son of a
carpenter and he suffered a lot. So, riches never save souls alone. Humans can get wealth, but
wealth is never superior to the inherit character, strength, and the spiritual strength of
humans at all. It is the communal wealth that is superior to individual selfishness. We
must embrace selflessness. Wealth is not spirituality. Wealth is a tool that can be used for good or
evil. Money can never answer everything since money is inanimate object. Money can never save souls.
Only the Creator can. Since some folks want to list Bible verses (which have nothing to do with the lie of
the poor being cursed for being poor or wealth being needed for salvation), Let me list some too. The love
of money leads to all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10). Luke 12:15 and Matthew 6:19 are clear on this issue.
We should not love money at all. It is the greed of the Eurocentric white supremacist mentality that
contributed to the economic recession of the 21st century in the first place. It is always economic greed
and economic exploitation that harm the total spiritual, intellectual, and moral composition of all human
life. We should grow and realize that wisdom is better than deception. I will end on this issue with the
words from the Lord Jesus Christ. His words sum it all up:

“…Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life
consisteth NOT in the abundance of the things which he
possesseth…” (Luke 12:15).

“Captain Phillips”

There is even some Hollywood propaganda with the movie called, "Captain Phillips." The movie obscures
the U.S. crimes in Somalia. It portrays the heroes vs. savages archetype that is common among Western
supremacist thinking. The movie is about the 2009 hijacking of the Maersk Alabama commercial
container ship by Somalia pirates. Pirates have been popularized with the recent Pirates of the Caribbean
trilogy. Those pirates centuries ago are portrayed as almost heroes when Western pirates abandon their
own, kill, and do other horrible actions. Many European pirates centuries ago lack human compassion.
Tom Hanks plays the eponymous Captain Philips. He urges the Somali pirates to treat their wounded. He
expresses paternal concern for his captors. —“What are you, sixteen, seventeen? You’re too young to be
out here doing this”; conveys indignation over the pirates’ conduct—“Is this how you do business? By
shooting people?”; and repeatedly tells the hijackers that they could leave, right now, with $30,000, no
questions asked. The impression is that the pirates are acting out of greed not desperation. The actors
portraying the pirates were Somalis. Many Somalis now are starving. The film shows Philips at the end of
the film shown arms tied to the wall. It shows a crucifixion image that falls short of his role as a Christ
figure. The ship’s chief engineer told CNN, “…it was the captain’s recklessness that steered them into
pirate-infested waters.” Crew members said that Phillips pursued this dangerous route in order to save
money. Now the crew is suing the shipping corporation for putting them in harm’s way, with Phillips
playing a nasty role in the lawsuit. To quote a Businessweek headline on the topic, “Hero of Captain
Phillips Movie Portrayed as Villain in Lawsuit." There is great controversy in the film. The Somalis are
portrayed as convenient villains for Hollywood in the past. Blackhawk Down viewed the Somalis as
ruthless and bloodthirsty. Americans were shown as honoring every life. The facts do not support this
narrative. The real Blackhawk Down incident was about 1,000 Somalis being killed as U.S. rangers
dropped into a crowded marketplace. Now, I do not agree with the U.S. rangers being assaulted in that
fashion though. So, I want to make that clear. Also, I do not agree with Somalis being killed unjustly
either. I reject imperialism. The film was so distorted in its depiction of Somalis that the Somali Justice
Advocacy Center in California called for a boycott of the movie. They said that “portrays Somalis as
violent savages”. The Maersk Alabama was carrying some humanitarian aid, but it ignores the U.S.
extensive cries in the region. The U.S. supported the brutal dictator Siad Barre. He lost power in 1991.
The U.S. so-called "humanitarian mission" called "Operation Restore Hope" killed 7,000 to 10,000
Somalis. It resulted in a civil war, famine, and political chaos. In 2001 the U.S. closed Al Barakaat or a
money transfer company. It was claimed it was used to funnel money to al-Qaeda. The reality is that the
organization had no link to al-Qaeda. Thousands of poverty stricken Somalis depended on the money
transferred via Al Barakaat from family abroad. Somalia specialist Michel Del Buono stated that the
decision to close al Barakaat was “equivalent to killing civilians." The U.S. financed warlords in Somalia
as have been found in 2006. These warlords formed death squads that terrorized Somalia. They killed
anyone who supported Islamic movements. Some of those captured by the death squads were turned
over to the U.S. for money where they were tortured. Religious factions fought the warlords back. The
factors are united in the group called the Union of Islamic Courts. The UIC gave aid to the malnourished
Somali people. They almost united all of Somalia by 2006. The UIC was seen as by the Bush
administration as too independent. So, the U.S. backed Ethiopia's invasion of Somalia. Ethiopia is a great
nation with wonderful people. It is just the West used a divide and conquer strategy that pitted black
African brothers and sisters against one another (which is one of the sick things that one have done in
human history). It was U.S. proxy war with U.S. troops in the ground in 2006. The U.S. air power gave
support and the invasion turned into a brutal 2 year occupation. It displaced hundreds of thousands and
killed 16,000 civilians. Rob Wise at the Center for Strategic and International Studies says the Ethiopian
occupation transformed al Shabaab from a very weak force in Somalia to “the most powerful and radical
faction in the country." So, the film never shows the truth about the U.S. role in making Somalia a failed
state without a coast guard.

There have been European, Asian, and Gulf companies dumping toxic and nuclear waste into Somalian
coastal waters. These waters are unregulated. This proves that some regulation can be good regardless
of the words from some libertarians. Ahmedou Ould-Abdallah, the UN envoy for Somalia, said, “There is
uranium radioactive waste, there is lead, there are heavy metals like cadmium, and mercury, there is
industrial waste, hospital, and chemical wastes.” He continued, “Radioactive waste is potentially killing
Somalis and completely destroying the ocean.” So, we see that 20 years of famine, civil war, and the
destruction of the ocean including fishermen that caused piracy. In 2007 the UN noted that Somalia had
higher malnutrition rates, more bloodshed, and fewer aid workers than Darfur. Ahmedou Ould-Abdallah
described Somalia’s plight as “the worst on the continent." It is easy to see that the West is complicit in
the destruction of Somalis for 20 years. Hollywood is wrong for ignoring this history and slandering the
Somali people. I reject war and imperialism.

Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom

The movie "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom" is a long, interesting film. I saw the whole movie inside of a
movie theater. It focuses on many historical facts of apartheid. It shows an overall picture of Nelson
Mandela as a great leader, but a flawed leader as well. In real life, Nelson Mandela was a strong political
leader. Great acting in the movie came from Brother Idris Elba and Sister Noami Harris. The Director of
the film is Justin Chadwick. The strength of the film is that is showed Nelson Mandela's strength including
Winnie Mandela's strength. Yet, the film could have been better by focusing more on his public and
ideological views not just his personal life. Mandela dominated his life a great deal as the leader of the
African National Congress (the ANC) in opposing the South African apartheid regime (and later as the
President of the post-apartheid capitalist South Africa). The ANC's true agenda should be known to fully
understand the thinking of the man. Political realities influenced his life. His politics should not be made
subordinate to his private life, but his whole life should be made into context. South Africa experienced
the evil end of the apartheid regime. Now, South Africans are fighting the evil regime of cartel-capitalism
and transnational corporate investors dominating the property and wealth of South Africa. The film starts
with a young Mandela going through a Xhosa rite of passage ceremony in his home village of Mvezo (that
allows boys to go into manhood). The adult Mandela is played by Idris Elba who is a great actor. He
played Nelson Mandela in an excellent fashion in terms of his voice, dignity, and strength. The film goes
into 1942 in Johannesburg. Mandela was a lawyer, a recreational boxer, etc. He made the mistake of
committing adultery against his first wife as he knew how to go out with women. He is at first uninterested
in politics until the racist white supremacist apartheid regime allowed the police to beat his friend to death.
Mandela questions the police report and is won over to the ANC. Mandela handling the responsibilities of
the ANC influenced the breakup of his first marriage. Mandela’s first wife divorces him because of his
various affairs. Soon afterward he meets his second wife, Winnie (Naomie Harris), who stays with him for
the rest of the film.

The film shows Mandela courageously burning his ID card in protests against a law requiring all black
people to keep such cards on them at all times or face arrest. After the violent suppression of protesters
by the South African police when they killed innocent Brothers and Sisters in the Sharpeville Massacre in
1960, he focused on armed struggle. He used armed struggle against military targets. The ANC wanted
liberation and once totally adhered to the Freedom Charter. The film dramatizes the infamous Rivonia
Trial of Mandela and nine others in 1963-64 that ended in a life sentence for Mandela. The audience is
only introduced to prominent ANC leaders Walter Sisulu (Tony Kgoroge) and Ahmed “Kathy” Kathrada
(Riaad Moosa) during this scene. Both Sisulu and Kathrada are sent to the notorious Robben Island
prison along with Mandela. However, their interactions rarely go beyond a few joking comments. Mandela
has no deep emotional exchange with them, despite the fact they are in the same predicament as he is.
Nor do they have many political discussions and debates even before they are jailed. Winnie Mandela
was abused and jailed too. Nelson and Winnie's daughter fighting for justice is shown in the film too and
that was touching. The film touches on Nelson leaving the jail and compromising with the apartheid
government ministers. The South African ruling elite wanted neoliberal policies to harm the nation's
people. Many of the apartheid criminals were not even sentenced to life in prison for their deeds.

*The struggle for ending apartheid was never done by negotiations with others. It was done by the blood,
sweat, and tears of Brothers and Sisters (including other human beings of different background) who put
their lives on the line as a means to fight for human justice. The abolition of apartheid should be
celebrated. Now, we should fight the capitalist policies of the modern South Africa government too. There
are many South African Brothers and Sisters still fighting for the legitimate aims of the 1955 South African
Freedom Charter. We all believe in its opening demand of: “…The People Shall Govern!”...” The Charter
is right to mention the following words too:

“…The national wealth of our country, the heritage of all South Africans, shall be restored to the
people; The mineral wealth beneath the soil, the banks and the monopoly industry shall be
transferred to the ownership of the people as a whole; All other industry and trade shall be
controlled to assist the well-being of the people; All people shall have equal rights to trade where
they choose, to manufacture and to enter all trades, crafts and professions…”

We still are fighting mass poverty and immense social inequality in South Africa today. We are still fight
superexploited black labor and a system of privilege owned by the elites. South Africa should
experience a future, strong social revolution where transnational corporate investors should never rule
most of the resources in South Africa. Long Walk to Freedom should inspire us to keep fighting for truth
and justice (which included economic justice and land justice too).

RIP Nelson Mandela
