The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is
the largest global professional accountancy body with over
300,000 members and students worldwide. ACCA has been
recognised by the United Nations as providing the basis for a
global accountancy qualification. The ACCA professional
qualification enables you to become a Chartered Certified
Accountant, use the designatory letters ACCA, and work in
the fields of audit, accounting and financial, and
management.
Over the last two decades Ernst & Young has supported the
corporate business community in the Middle East by providing
high quality training programmes to enable organisations to
improve the skills and enhance the performance of their
employees.
In response to the needs of ACCA students in Qatar, Ernst &
Young is now offering ACCA Fundamental Level (Previously
known as Parts 1 and 2) examination preparation courses.

Ernst & Young, is the only approved ACCA training institute in
Qatar (UCRS accreditation). Ernst & Young has developed a
class room training programme aimed at preparing ACCA
Fundamental level (Previously known as Part 1 and Part 2)
candidates for the examination. Ernst & Young has a growing
number of students who have successfully completed
professional qualifications through our unique class room
based learning programmes. We at Ernst & Young offer you

The Ernst & Young ACCA Parts 1 and 2 examination
preparation courses will provide students with a structured
study programme combining classroom lectures, mock
examinations and self study exercises covering the entire
examination syllabus. By completing this preparation course,
candidates will be ideally positioned to successfully take the
examinations.

known as Parts 1 and 2 of the examinations)

Employees of finance or internal audit departments desirous
of obtain an internationally recognised accounting
qualification as a means of achieving a higher management
position in these disciplines.

Those who would simply like to gain or update traditional
accounting skills together with strategic thinking and fluency
with financial reporting without necessarily taking the
examination.
How to register with ACCA
In order to gain entry to the ACCA it is necessary
for you to satisfy the minimum entry requirements
which can take a variety of forms. If you are a
mature student aged 21 years or over you can take
advantage of the Mature Student Entry Route.
Standard entry for registration to Fundamental
If aged 18 years or above, two A levels+ three GCSEs (or
equivalent international standard) in a total of five
separate subjects, including English and Mathematics
Mature student entry route (MSER)
If aged 21 years or above, without standard Entry level
qualifications, students will have two years (Four
consecutive examinations sessions) from registration to
pass papers F2 and F3

Degree holder exemptions
Business or accounting degree holders with comparable
assessed study experience may qualify for exemptions
from some or all of the Fundamental level (Previously
known as part 1 and part 2 exams) allowing direct entry
to Professional level (Previously known as part 3.)
Other exempting qualifications
Certain higher education and professional qualifications
will be assessed for exemptions, using the above policies
as a benchmark.
