NEEDS
Safi Strategist needs a website to reach out to the community and also to serve and support the current
informational needs of the clients.
Furthermore, the company needs a website that can be easily maintained.
The website should also serve as a portal to enable clients place orders for their events, programmes,
mobile applications as well as a business consultancy.
Also, the website is to promote creativity, advertisement and events.
This final point is the most important, security, a much secured website on a much secured server to
protect against various cyber-attacks.
SOLUTIONS
Doss Empire will provide the company with a web design that is easy to navigate and provides useful
information to current subscribers.
The design will integrate the current logo and colour palette so it will maintain a familiar look to current
subscribers, but will at the same time show them that the company is improving its web presence in
order to serve them better.
CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Central to the new design from Doss Empire will be a robust Content Management System (CMS) that
will allow the company to make changes easily to the website, without requiring a dedicated
workstation or additional software. Not only will the CMS save the company website revision costs but it
will also ensure that the website stays fresh and up to date.
WORKFLOW
Preliminary Design
Working in conjunction with Safi Strategist, we will provide the company with a preliminary design
concept for the new website. That design concept will include the basic layout, color palette, font
choices, etc. The Company will be required to provide the necessary information needed for the
development of the website. Any other information provided by the developer will come at an
additional cost.
INTEGRATION OF CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Once the design is approved, then we will incorporate the Content Management System into the design.
Installing the content management system on a development server, implementing the template(s) into
the CMS, and creating the barebones navigation structure & layout.
DELIVERY SCHEDULE
All efforts will be made to deliver this project within the desired delivery window which, at the
writing of this scope of work, is 2 weeks.
Events that may delay final delivery or individual milestone delivery include:
delays in receiving client approvals
delays in receiving client feedback & revision notes
delays in receiving partial payments to initiate project or individual completed phases
delays in providing information or access to 3rd party accounts (hosting, merchant, etc)
SITE WARRANTY
If anything breaks on your site, at any time within 3 months after launch, it will be fixed without
any charge. Minor content updates and revisions to the site (design, layout and functionality)
within 30 days after launch and completion of the project are also covered free of charge.
LAUNCH
When the company has finished incorporating all the content they wish to have at launch, we will move
the website from the development sub-directory to the main root level of the domain, thereby making
the site go live. Congratulations!
