One or more GSM modems are connected to the Passport 4000 fax server, to match your predicted volumes.



All connected users, applications and systems can be enabled to send SMS messages.



Passport 4000 interrogates the submitted message and, if longer than 160 characters, will split it into multiple smaller messages and send them in sequence.



Once delivered to the intended mobile device, a confirmation is sent back to the originator or originating system.



Mobile users can also send messages into the organisation. These may be sent to a specified recipient via email, or it may trigger an automated system to return requested information to the device.

Each GSM modem requires an active SIM card.
