WIDE Bandwidth - using Scale-Out Storage Architectures Scale-out NAS storage is one of the fastest growing segments in the enterprise storage market. Utilizing simple/dense x86 processor based storage servers, processor performance, storage capacity and network bandwidth scale together by adding Server nodes. This architecture provides predictable performance scaling into the PB range as servers are added to the cluster. SuperStorage Servers come in optimal form factors featuring 2.5” and 3.5” SAS2/SATA3 HDDs. This gives the user the ability to incrementally add host nodes at the capacity and performance specifications desired. HIGH Storage Capacity – with JBOD Storage Expansion Traditional Storage deployments using JBOD expansion chassis offer users excellent cost per TB for their storage investment that becomes more cost effective as capacity is added to the server node. With up to 7 PCI-E 3.0 expansion slots available in SuperStorage servers, host connectivity can be optimized for applications that require storage of large sequential data types. Applications from video post production and high resolution surveillance, disk to disk backup and enterprise data deduplication and replication tasks are just a few examples. With high density form factors up to 36x 3.5” HDD bays in 4U, usable capacity can reach hundreds of TBs, under a single server node.
