Amma J Jayalalithaa, Chief Minister of Tamilnadu completes 100 days and achieves hundreds of welfare scheme for the people of Tamilnadu. 25 Achievements are listed below. 1. Free Distribution of 20 Kgs of Rice to family card holders month after month. 2. Free Rice of 35 kgs to Anthyodhaya Anna Yojana Card holder every month. 3. Maternity leave for state government women employees extended to 6 months. 4. Free Distribution of 4gm Gold for Thirumaangalyam (Sacred Thread) and marriage assistance of Rs.25000 (educated woman), Rs.50000 (Poor woman). Differently abled girls too can benefit from this scheme. 5. Assitance to Fisherman during Fishing Ban Period is increased to Rs.2000 (from Rs.1000 given earlier). 6. Monthly Pension of Rs.1000 to Senior Citizen, Differently abled persons and destitute woman and widows in Tamilnadu. 7. Free LAPTOP to be given to 9.12 lakhs students @ cost of Rs.912 Crores. 8. Free Distribution of Fans, Mixies and Grinders to 25 Lakhs women @ cost of Rs.1250 Crores. 9. Free Distribution of 60000 milch cows within 5 years to poor rural families. (12000 milch cows will be given during this year @ Rs.56 crores 10. Free Distribution of 4 Goats or Sheep each to 7 lakh poor families in 5 years. Out of which, 1 lakh will be given this year @ Rs.135 crores. 11. Online Employment registration in Schools 12. Construction of 60000 Green Houses @ Rs.1080 crores 13. Chief Ministers Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme @ Rs.750 crores. 14. Monthly pension of Rs.1000 to Sri Lankan Tamil Refugees. 15. Up gradation of 100 high schools as Higher Secondary Schools. 16. Financial assistance of Rs.25000 each to 89 students from poor families studying B.E/B.tech 17. Improvement in Infrastructure facilities in Adi-Dravidar/ tribal Student hostels @ Rs.83.40 crores. 18. Pension for Journalists increased to Rs.6000 and Family pension for journalist increased to Rs.3000 19. Rs.5007 cores allocated for the welfare of the Adi-Dravidars. 20. Feeding charges in Adi-dravidar school student’s increased to Rs.750 21. Four Sets of Free Uniforms to Elementary School Children. For 6 standards and above, Full pants for Boys and Salwar-Kameez to Girls will be given 22. 415.48 cores worth of land restored from 419 land grabbers who also arrested under land grabbing cases. 23. Commissioning of 400 KV capacity Sub-station at Sunguvarchathiram at a cost of Rs.227.35 crores. 24. Rs.22 cores allocated to renovate 54 lakes. 25.
